benalvino3: That is according to you, Ben. And law abiding Planned Parenthood may have closed down but the quack performing secret abortions just opened shop. For me, abortion should be legal because illegalising abortions only make people go seek secret abortions which you can not police, nor can you stop me crossing the border into a state that does not criminalise me for aborting you. 2 Likes |

Timiofak: Oh my You must be a casanova judging from the way you are in favor of abortions. Easy for you. Just make out and if things go wrong Roe v Wade makes sure you never pay child support. Just my opinion. In other words I think you are stating matters out of personal interests. 1 Like |

benalvino3: Nothing is enshrined, is my simple point, since it is a meaningless word concerning a constitution which is constantly amended. Or don't you know that an amendment deenshrines? An example is, some would claim the Supreme Court enshrined a woman's right to abort with Roe v Wade, but as you can clearly see, the Supreme Court just deenshrined it and can deenshrine whatever the constitution supposedly enshrined too. Here is another example of deenshrining. 1 Like

ono: Laws that attempt to regulate things of the spirit don't work. They create more problems than they purport to solve. Examples are abound in history, eg., laws that banned alcohol, prostitution, fornication, adultery, marijuana, etc the dont stand the test of time. 4 Likes 4 Shares |

budaatum: What would be the requirements for amendments? Two cigar smoking oligarchs in an office or a whole number of states? You betray yourself by the way by saying SCOTUS deenshrined Roe v Wade. What they did which you may not understand is to correct the creation of a law that did not exist. They found that Roe v Wade was not constitutional. 1 Like |

budaatum: Well, at the moment rights to own a gun is enshrined till it is amended. so saying dead men bla bla bla... sounds vague the Argument here and you are missing the point. it is not for the supreme court to enshrine things... it is for them know make sure the laws of the land are being followed. they cannot enshrine and deenshrine anything. that is why he was arguing that Gun Laws are enshrined in the constitution and abortion is not. Amending the constitution is another topic. 2 Likes |

basilico: Lol; and how does that concern you ? Did I impregnate your mother and I didn’t take care of you ? If you don’t get out of my sight with your ridiculous assumptions. Btw if I impregnate my girlfriend today I can take care of both her and the child that would come forth and if she doesn’t want the child my state of Pennsylvania still does abortions. Good riddance. 4 Likes 1 Share |

benalvino3: Now you are close to getting it. Ben. See what happens when you open your eyes and use your mind instead of misinterpreting what I write? Some were arguing that abortions too were "enshrined" until now that they've been deenshrined, and note that Biden just signed a law reducing the supposed enshrinement of Gun Laws. 2 Likes

budaatum: We are talking about the constitution. Abortion is not in it. the Judges in the SC are not the authors of the constitution. You said they have long died, kinder implying the law should be abolished, you said it is not what you meant. I am only trying to know what you meant because you sure did sound that way. Biden can only sign a law that is within the constitution. if he goes above it, the Court will strike down the law. that does not mean the court is making its own laws. |

benalvino3: Ben please learn to take responsibility for your misinferences instead of claiming I imply as if I am writing on your silly brain! My "they are long dead" was to imply that the living have the power to deenshrine what had been enshrined in the past, even if the enshriners were still living, i.e., a current president deenshrining what a previous living president enshrined, and that's not to talk of if they are actually long dead. The SCOTUS have exercised their power to deenshrine RvW which had previously been enshrined, and which is what makes the word enshrine mean no more than a pencil and an eraser. I have shown you an example of a Constitutional deenshrinement already, and bet others reading will soon point out other deenshrinements of the Constitution of the Evolving United States of America as opposed to a country that enshrines and tries to remain stagnant, but if you can read, here's a list of deenshrinements of the Constitution. The Constitution of the United States, which entered into force in 1789, is the oldest written national constitution in use. The framers of the U.S. Constitution included a provision whereby the document may be amended, generally (though not solely) by a two-thirds majority of each house of Congress followed by ratification by legislatures in three-fourths of the states. (Only one amendment, the Twenty-first Amendment, repealing Prohibition, was ratified in an alternate way—by ratifying conventions in three-fourths of the states.) Since 1789 the Constitution has been amended 27 times; of those amendments, the first 10 are collectively known as the Bill of Rights and were certified on December 15, 1791. Does the bold not infer to you that the framers of the U.S. Constitution so did not enshrine it that they included a provision whereby the document may be deenshrined even if it were ever enshrined? 1 Like |

raumdeuter: Yet they make no exceptions for incest many states wanting to ban abortions are having draconian abortion bans more than the Taliban. At least 2020 and Georgia 2021 showed that if the majority vote Americans are not that stupid. They have gotten the message from uncle Thomas because even the LGBTQ community know that they are next. The I want to use birth control people are next. Even racial segregation could be next because I don't know why people still showcase confederate flags. The young generation who will suffer more from this know that they are next but no keep arguing against reality because you cannot accept that today's GQP is so out of touch. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

wirinet: First thing is to appreciate that the forces at play and that we see with our physical eyes are basically what has been determined and approved in the spirit realms. The forces at play are different. One is superior to the other - the spiritual forces are much more powerful (harmful or beneficial) than the physical ones. But I believe you also must know that the Devil rules in the affairs of men......albeit for a while. He is at play, the hand that plays the strings in essentially all of the world's government. The other day, I read that the WEF - World Economic Forum is run by some people who are hell-bent on imposing a new order on world affairs. I don't want to sound like what you lot call conspiracy theorist , but my point is that there are forces at play that our conventional laws and understanding really cannot match at all. Just like it has now been unveiled that we indeed have UFOs in the world and no one seems to care about that revelations. If the world's law and conventional reasonings fail, it is because the spiritual laws that govern all you mentioned up there - alcohol, prostitution, fornication, adultery, marijuana, etc have a higher grip on their victims and have more power over the natural laws put in place by the normal carnal man to regulate them. And since these things are harmful in nature and we know add zero to one's life, one can easily say/see that it's the forces of evil that are at play in the lives of those who are addicted to these things - their victims. Now, we have a God who loves righteousness, who meant well for mankind - in the spiritual and physical realms. And He's all out to save victims - those who are at the mercy of wicked spiritual laws (forces) imposed on their lives by the Devil for which natural man-made laws have been unable to save and redeem. This is not some Christianity preachings and stuff. This is for real folks and this God wants victims of all you listed up there, wirinet, to reach out to his outstretched arm for help, and he will gladly save them. 1 Like |

AmazonHippolyta: Most of them don't realize what's coming, that Clarence Thomas has issues with contraceptives should be a pointer but then they don't understand, conservatives especially Evangelicals want to return America back to its old order and this can only happen by dismantling lots of civil rights and liberties, it took supreme court ruling to legalize interracial marriage in America, with current supreme court judges what are chances they won't reverse it? lots of GOP politicians have already attacked that ruling, they want their ameriKKKa back. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Since everything is states right why should there be a Supreme Court the idiots arguing that there is no where in the Constitution to protect abortion rights will also argue that there is nothing like interracial marriage anywhere. The painful thing is black people and other minorities applauding these idiots and failing to see the bigger picture. 1 Like |

raumdeuter:Who said Beto will win I would be shocked if he does the point is that Texas is shifting blue and turning purple and the polls show it. The last elections showed it. Republicans should know that Texas is no longer Idaho or South Dakota it is not a completely red state the only advantage they have is in the rurals and what matters is turnout and effective messaging. The district had a low turnout nothing out of the ordinary and will go back to the democratic column when other cities are added because of redistricting the Republican won because there were three democrats in the race another thing is this the turnout in November will not be 7%. Was it not an Hispanic woman that was nearly jailed a few months ago for having an abortion lol they are coming. 1 Like 1 Share |
