Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by askari01: 9:27pm On Jun 25, 2022 |
You were too confident that your 14m would sure get you the Visa. Infact, What I noticed these days is that those guys treating applications has got a template they follow but the statement of account carries more weight... If ur self employed, ensure you place urself on a monthly pay, if ur married with kids do 400k pls if you are single 250+ is fine and ensure no other funds enters into the account asides your monthly pay. 1.8- 2m balance can get u a visa I swear. Imagine you having like 1.5m balance since january till March and gradually increasing as you receive your monthly pay ... 2m+ balance is enough for a trip of like 600k. The consulting job payment should not go into your personal account since your company is registered. These guys believe you can easily prepare a letter of contract at any business center to cajole them. It is very clear that you wanted to boost your account with all those payments .. quarterly, midyear, upfront bla bla bla . You shot yourself on the leg, avoid logement and also avoid business funds entering your personal account. The guys are wise now . midep: |

askari01: Thank you Mr Visa officer. You dnt jump into conclusion if you dnt know the story, read my comment before jumping up and down Mr too know. For your information my leave allowance alone is N1.1M credited since March 2022 without me touching it. The income from my consulting job is by the way, and it has nothing to do with the refusal. What about the CAC documents submitted ?.was that also clown or what ?. Ogbeni learn how to keep quiet if you have nothing reasonable to say I have a balance of N3.5 in my statements as a result of my salary, my monthly salary alone is over N800k. I have to respond to you so you will not confuse other people with your over Sabi. It's UK lost as am going to another country for my vacation. 1 Like |

I think this visa thing is luck now, was denied in Nov, was very confident because of my statement and balance, and honestly don't really have any plan to stay in the Uk but was refused, these Eco s they don't know what they are doing, the guy beside me at tls ikeja that he's going to Uk for visit visa and he's not coming funny enough he was given the visa. People with good intentions are denied while those that want to Japa are given visa. The Eco s are really incompetent. An thinking of applying again, still contemplating of applying or may be forget it. askari01: 1 Like 1 Share |

midep:You need to calm down. You came here to say things on your matter and that was how he/she was able to respond.. if you did not bring it here, nobody will come to your house to force the information out of you… shey you get? You made it seem as though it was straightforward but no it is not. Seems you have paid employment and then you said you are doing consulting on the side.. Still inside this consulting they credited your account, still inside this account you got other deposits- beginning of year, middle of year, quarter of year, again now you say leave allowance. I am also guessing all these are aside monthly salary credits… How many credits gan gan? Then you say what about the CAC documents submitted… visa is not by submission of CAC documents na.. just calm down and read your refusal letter again and again. To have helped you should have separated everything about side consulting from your application as you say you earn 800k.. what was the need for that inside same personal account? If you doing consulting job on the side and are already comfortable per your paid employment why bring that in? Did you submit an introductory letter from your employer stating all these deposits and amounts you are entitled to? If not then you are not the first to be denied on such basis. You can seek reconsideration.. one poster had same issue.. and sought reconsideration… however her case and yours differ in where you mention CAC/consulting/consulting paper etc. me i also got confused, how much more the visa officer .. sorry and cheers. Seek reconsideration. 3 Likes |

Genlit33: I really do believe they have a quota. I have been reading different countries visa applications and a lot of them are hit and miss. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by giselle237: 10:22pm On Jun 25, 2022 |
Genlit33:about this japa thing.. some people have mastered the game of treachery/deception.. they know exactly how to maneuver the application to swing in their favour…basically what everyone is doing but there are those who are genuinely just seeking vacation and those with fake intentions. A lady I know with 3 children. .. neat application.. as tho coming for vacation.. reach here now stayed 2 months.. next thing asylum.. for the sake of not promoting lies and deception I will not state her story… i was just weak when I found out. Sadly whether vacation or japa if the application is that water tight and covered it will be granted.. there are cases of a few of these on this thread.. some get caught at the border, others do not and cross. It is what it is. 2 Likes |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by midep: 10:26pm On Jun 25, 2022 |
giselle237: Our major probs in this country is we judge without reasoning. There is nothing confusing in the allowances pad by organization into a staff salary account. All the narration in the account statements showing the credit tallied with my payslip and offer letters presented. When is it a crime to declare additional income that came in twice in the account with clear narations ? My point is we shouldn't see the ECO as superhuman, they can make error of judgement. The fact that a visa was refused doesn't mean they are right and you are wrong. 1 Like 1 Share |

giselle237: Since it was the Uk embassy that sent it there, they might want to refer to it later and I would like to have cleared the air before then |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by giselle237: 10:32pm On Jun 25, 2022 |
midep:again go for reconsideration ma/sir They deny for funny reasons at times that is why people on this thread shout evryday keep a clean statement of account.. keep a clean statemnt of account.. your employer should give you a letter stating what your entitlements are You can not have these differing amounts within a short period with no signed explanation from your employer. It will not work that way. Then again consulting side business money inside personal account.. how many deposits do you want them to understand? You are not the 1st been denied on such grounds. To be honest. ECO can not make out your claims. Any small thing that tends to be confusing in statement of account they will gladly deny.. Keep out confusions is what is always sung in on this same thread you have laid out your matter. Also bear in mind you are a 1st timer, you would need this advise better than someone with a travel history with them… As you prepare for a trip to other parts … send in reconsideration email or something |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by giselle237: 10:33pm On Jun 25, 2022 |
favouritedami:there is no clearance of air if it is same UK you want to apply to.. if yes, till thine kingdom come it will be used against you except you want to apply on spouse visa route. Any other route to them, there is no clearing of air with deception which you admitted is true . Also 8 years ago is a long time ago… you should have made effort then even though it might not change anything as fake visa is fake visa. |

askari01:Good evening, I think you could have been more sensitive in your response, the poster is clearly hurt/ annoyed due to the refusal. Also, It’s possible to work in an organization where your emoluments are paid in tranches, and that was his explanation (a job and his personal business), it doesn’t mean that he was trying to boost his account. I will suggest that the consulting firm should have its own bank account, for a clearer picture of the poster’s income. It will also help decision making because he can decide to use only the salary account for subsequent visa application. 1 Like |

favouritedami:nothing will change.. save your money.. as long as you were not a minor 8 years ago, nothing will change. You wanted to beat the system and you were caught, they do not take lightly. Only chance again is spousal visa or go to another country.. so many… 195 other beautiful nations sir |

MideP... So sorry omo iyami... Experience was my teacher. As a charge and bail lawyer by proffession, I was only trying to hit the nail on the head so as to let you see what you arent seein... Shaa Mabinu.. You may go for reconsideration as my OGa has said but.... To make it faster, you may reapply...Just Print 1-2 years of your salary statement of account to prove to the embassy that all these stated fund goes into your account regularly.. UK visa is very easy if you can make your application straight forward... As the owner of the company, You are in control of the finances, 800k monthly is super good, Submit your business account to see how much u have there that you receive 1.1million as leave allowee and other emoluments therein, atleast your salary comes from somewhere every month. Mind you, for anyone that would receive all these funds in their account , I assume like 30-100milla must have passed thru the business account. I am sorry once again ... We r all here to learn . I rest my case . midep: 1 Like |

midep: Sorry about the refusal. It's never a good idea to recieve payments for your personal business in your salary account. It causes confusion for the visa officers . They simply can't understand why you have a regualr 9 - 5 job and you are still doing business to make extra money. To them, it appears that your regular job is not paying you enough and you have to do other things to make ends meet. I believe that was the cause of the refusal. Seperate your business dealings from your salary account. When and if you reapply, don't bother to mention your business. Use your salary account only. I have never mentioned any of my businesses even though I make good money from them. I always use my salary account. It is safer and more straightforward. 3 Likes |
