Yes, in grades, they are. Graded from Grades I to VI depending on the level of fusion of the radial epiphyseal plates of the left wrist. I trust most, if not all, of the lads are Grades IV and below except in a few cases where two or more may lie on the border between Grades IV and V. Back in December 2020, the NFF decided to only pick players who are Grades IV and below to avoid failing MRI tests on the African and Global stage due to a rule in the U17 Afcon regulations that states that if any member of a team failed the MRI (during Afcon Qualifiers or at Afcon proper) then the entire team would be disqualified. So with this, I think Odoh should make it all the way to the WC, hopefully. elunico: 3 Likes 3 Shares |

Just read of a match of the NPFL where 36 extra minutes was awarded for injury and it was withing this period that the home team scored. Whether it is an isolated incident or not, this is really painting the league in a very bad light. This is really sad 8 Likes 1 Share |

Sportilitica: The league has always been a picasso artwork of the bad light. That's it's color. Nobody is secure or safe. They just tushed up jerseys, nothing remarkable to show progress. I can bet that if they pump over $100m into the league, the character and despicable acts will not change. It's a mentality problem. That game shows that the NPFL and lmc aren't in control at all. They aren't ready to move forward with the right moves. Club owners and players can't even start a campaign against violence and insubordination. Its the air they breath. Why should a ref still be afraid in this 2022 year? Where are the rules and protocols to make defaulters fear and set their houses in order? Virtually none. Very shameful. I can bet you that if not for bascovanveli, this league won't look attractive to me. See what shooting stars did weeks back. See rumors of mfm angry at sunshine for now helping them avoid relegation like they helped sunshine seasons back. A Shameful Circus House. And the Paint is the bad paint. No one else wan repaint am. For now!! NPFL no be league. University League level. 3 Likes 1 Share |

daveP: See, the problem with the league isn't the actors per se, it's the regulators. The actors (fans and team officials) only display despicable conducts because they know the regulators do not have the cajones to take strong decisions. It doesn't take rocket science to bring sanity to the League. Just have strict penalties for conducts like this and you'll see it stop almost immediately. For instance, whenever fans disrupt a game without incidence, let the team play behind closed doors for half season. If with incidence, deduct points and ban the team to another location for half the season, have them play behind close doors all through the season. Officials who beat up referees should be banned from the NPFL for life. You just have to read them the riot act and follow through with them and you'll see changes. 3 Likes |

When I've watched the Spanish football highlights
Chukwueze (apologies if the spelling's wrong) has always
struck me as a more dangerous player for Villarreal than
Danjuma tbh. The fee being punted around seems to be very
high for someone who has only chalked up one season at a
decent level in top football copied |

I have a question. What has danjuma got that Dennis hasnt?
Im only asking this as Dennis is quoted at half the price and
performed well in the prem copied What an interesting question 3 Likes |

lovewins: The incident with Dakkada FC was the third time Pillars would be penalized this season... 3 points deduction, some home game ban and some million of niara fine was what they got.. the LMC can't ban them because there are people within the club that have influence in the league.. Yet they could ban Giwa FC and Ocean boys from the league... IMO, until management of the league and clubs itself is moved further away from government control, we may not see much progress... It's a known fact that government controlled institutions are quite poor at maximizing profits.. There was some talks a few years ago about some private clubs starting their own league... I wonder why the idea died down... 5 Likes |

A return to the Italian Serie A is looking increasingly likely with every passing second for a former Nigerian youth international who does not want to continue in Belgium Serie A side Torino have been linked with an interest in Nigerian forward David Okereke, who performed decently for relegated Venezia FC last season. On loan from Belgian giants Club Brugge, Okereke was one of the shining lights for Venezia in a difficult campaign that ended in demotion to Serie B. The 24-year-old scored seven goals – including a fine winner in a shocking victory over Jose Mourinho’s AS Roma – and added another assist. Still, it was ultimately not enough to keep the Winged Lions in the Italian top flight. A return to his parent club, Brugge, is logically the next step, but Okereke has clarified that he does not see his future in Belgium. Club Brugge paid a club-record €8 million to sign Okereke from Spezia in 2019. 3 Likes |

The yet-to-be-invited Nigerian footballer is a transfer interest of Beşiktaş in addition to offers coming from the Serie A David Okereke has been one of the Nigerian players linked with several moves this transfer window with Serie A clubs in particular signifying an interest. After Lazio and Torino reportedly indicated their desire to price the player away from his Belgian club, Club Brugge after a decent individual season with Venezia in the Serie A, Beşiktaş are also interested. 1 Like |

The Yellow Canaries winger had a good season the last term as he helped Nantes to the Europa League and won their first title in two decades Super Eagles winger, Moses Simon has become a player of interest to Premier League clubs with Brighton and Hove Albion and Newcastle Utd interested. Newcastle have a war chest to dip into after being taken over by the Saudis in January and are investing significant cash into the club. The Magpies are discussing possibilities of seeing Simon switch from the Ligue 1 to the Premier League but face a threat from Brighton, according to butfootball. With €10-15m enough to price the player away from Nantes, where he scored six goals and recorded eight assists last season, the player is yet to indicate where his future is headed. Nantes may be reluctant to wait to have the player enter the last year on his contract before selling him, as Nice and Marseille are also reportedly interested. 3 Likes |
