While you’re right on that. I think the coming generation would lean into tech more compared to our older generation. We have bright minds in this country, not just our country to but Africa in general.

I would have thought along that line of coming generation to, but considering the unending shamble in the education sector, i doubt the reality of such assertion... Perhaps, we manage to fix things, any Nigeria youth(yes, i generalize) living in this country won't delve into robotics science.

To me machine shud stay as machine sincw it sole purpose is to be used as a tool lessen task or carrying out dangerous mission... It doesn't need consciousness....and consciousness is only human thing.... I doubt it will ever b replicated in a machine....

I don't think it will stay that way for ever. Machines are advancing in an exponential rate, think of what will happen when we achieve a quantum computer based AI. Humans are a biological machine, it's either we evolve or we go extinct that is nature's law

Not yet but the real question is, what is our definition of consciousness, some day machines will have all the emotions we have but some will argue oh it is just electrical signals but yeah same with ours, just chemical and electrical signal too. The matter is not an easy one to discuss
