My spouse applied for a visitor visa last December with the hope to visit Canada March 2022. The travel date has passed but no decision yet. Want to know if she needs to send a need hotel booking and detailed letter to explain that she still like to travel in September or October 2022. Please what does she needs to do concerning this application? |
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by tempzi: 11:12pm On Jun 27, 2022 |
Ashirioluwa: They give priority for visitors visa based on purpose of travel, application package and all that You can use the new portal to re apply who knows. If no one is sending your spouse an invitation which is detailed it could be tough. Try using the SOWP if a VV is taking too long. Cheers |

How were you able to reach the MP? Can u help me with the email/link tempzi: |
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by tempzi: 7:29am On Jun 28, 2022 |
jogojogo: As far as I know nothing special about using the new portal in terms of faster processing, they approve applications for old and new portal. Yes, medicals is required even for a neonate so long he/she was included in the application. Depending on how close your cousin school is resuming, what he/she can do is to send emails to their office, raise web forms or contact MP / Gcms note to know what's going on. Cheers |

chekz169: It depends on the province you are going to. I contacted the office of MP in Montreal. |

Hello Everyone, I want to appreciate this forum first of all. I understand that everytime someone asks for an intermediary who can help with the process of relocation to Canada, the usual response is for the person to look through this thread and do it themselves. It is imperative to note that all of us dont have the same tenacity to do undertake the process ourselves for different reasons. Some of us are so swamped with the travails of life that it is almost impossible to do the processing ourselves. I personally know that I may give up halfway but having guidance will spur me to action. Knowing yourself is equally important so as not to solely embark on a project that will frustrate you in the end. I know of some people who did it themselves and failed to secure a Canadian visa after rigorous processes. This would seriously be debilitating for some of us and can lead to depression if one is not resilient. My point is if anyone knows of any reputable and reliable intermediary (I am trying hard not to use the word "agent", please avail us of their contact. Someone who knows the process through and through with integrity. My goal is to be in Canada in 6 months while I continue to work hard here before then. I do not know whether to go the study route or Express Entry. There is no one size fits all and I dont want to get it wrong. I do know guidance is paramount. If you can help, it is myself and three children. Please let's confer via email : sarahsamdona@yahoo.com God bless you all for your input. Regards |

Hello Modupe, there are many intermediaries licensed by IRCC that you can use. Try todunconsulting via instagram (also check ircc website for more licensed nigerian organisations); however keep an open mind as they do not offer any guarantees as regards timeframe of an approval of your application. There are no special spots reserved for agents/intermediaries; licensed or otherwise. In addition, their consultation/professional costs are unreasonably expensive. This is why most people would rather do their research and apply themselves and hope for a positive outcome within the shortest timeframe. The reason you'd be referred to earlier posts is because in all honesty, everyone is busy. Everyone is motivated by something, so I'd encourage you to find the time for it. This platform has great people who would respond to your enquiries and offer advice et all but of course, you must do your own research as we are all novices who have had and share our good and not so good experiences with IRCC. I wish you all the best in the route you choose to follow. Warm regards modupemomo: 3 Likes |

Karmora: Good morning, You can look for someone else you know in Canada who would be willing to help you. Alternatively, there's an option of applying for it online but they charge a lil higher |

It seems Nairobi decided to send emails today. I also got an email today saying the following... [Good day and thank you for contacting the Immigration Section. In response to your email enquiry below, kindly note that these applications are still under active review by our office. At the moment, we are not in a position to give a clear indication of when we anticipate finalising these applications. However, we wish to inform you that our office is doing the necessary to ensure that these applications are processed and finalised within the shortest timeframe possible. We trust that this information suffices in responding to your enquiry.] Meanwhile what I sent to them was an additional document. It will surely end in praise soon. Happy new month everyone |
