You're totally correct. I have met Yorubas who will vote Obi. I personally encourage them to follow their conviction because I know they are inconsequential and that Tinubu will win far more easily than people assume.

Yet I have not met a single Igbo who is set to vote Tinubu. If anything, it makes me proud of Yorubas as a fair, tolerant and innately decent people.

Our future is always hopeful because of how Yorubas think even as I cannot say same for Igbos who are extremely intolerant, clannish, tribalistic and as discriminatory as is possible for a man or woman to be.

Yet I must add that Yorubas being that way is only beneficial or productive in a nation where others are of similar disposition.

Being too Liberal and unbiased can be a huge disadvantage in a tribalistic nation like Nigeria where others, most especially Igbos, want our nations top job as a weapon of vendetta against others.
