Hi,

Please note hat your POF is a prerequisite for being issued a CAS by UWE. So, it’s not possible.

No. they just gave us a form to fill, however, in that form you will need to fill in the details on your passport.

Hello everyone, is there anyone here that applied to University of Bristol and has gotten any reply from them? I applied since early May and my referees have submitted their referrals as well, but I'm yet to get any update from them.

On my portal, it's written that my application is being reviewed since then..

Most people from Nigeria rent accommodation outside of school. School accommodation is not necessary.

Is anyone going to UWE Bristol, I applied on Sunday, and I got an unconditional offer today. I'm a bit confused now about the accommodation aspect.

I'm the applicant with a family of 5 (husband & kids), is it a must we pay for their UWE arranged accommodation?, if Yes, can we pay for just a month or 2 for us to settle in?.

I started my POF on monday, the exact amount needed in the bank account is 10.8m at oanda rate (12000+9207×508 naira)
I started with a balance of 11.3m ( i used 531 as the rate gbp) meaning i have 500k extra for flunctuations.
Please i want to know if this amount will fly. I heard people talking about 600 naira per gbp as the least safe rate. I just hope i am safe enough.

It's fine. Oanda rates don't jump like black market rate

Hello, has anyone been able to book for TB test this week? Once I input the applicant's details and click continue, it refuses to go to the next page. What can I do?

Also for POF, I know its 28days. Now at the point of printing my statement am I printing for 6 months or just for one month that covers the 28days? Please those that have picked up their visas, let me know how you printed your bank statements. Your answers are highly appreciated.

Get your passport first as there is usually an expected date of entry (you can’t enter b4 that date) to avoid rescheduling your flight.
And I’m sure you know that to reschedule is not FREE

A very big and loud CONGRATULATIONS going out to those who just got their visas.
Living in the UK is another kettle of fish but with adequate preparation (no matter how small), you will quickly adapt
- You need a smart phone. It’s somehow cheaper to fix (if faulty or get a new one) all your gadgets n devices in 9ja b4 leaving for the UK
- Familiarise yourself to maps on your phone.You can’t move around without a guide (map), unless you ve relatives or friends who are ready to be doing that
- Read up on my earlier post quoted above for to-do

To those still expectant, it shall surely come. Try and do your due diligence and your passport will be stamped.
The UK has many different visa routes and this only signifies they have opened up their space to qualified individuals - just make yourself qualified in any category you wish to use and you good to get a visa.

Since the beginning of the year, the Naira has been gaining against the £. As far back as February, I observed 565 and it’s been a downward flow to 508 that it’s at now (yet to see a gain by £ for a day or two)
So, hopefully, if it stays that way, you should be good

Good afternoon, my CAS landed some hours ago but I noticed my name isn't arranged as it appears on my passport. For instance, my surname came last instead of coming first. Is this a mistake or this is how it was issued for everyone.

Also, can I use to same statement I submitted for CAS (printed on Bank app) for Visa application, or must I go to the bank to get it signed?
