The boy did not claim he was smuggled into the UK! The purpose of the visit as stated in the visa application is the main problem. The embassy officials must have been led to believe that the young man was the one in need of foreign medical treatment, rather than a willing organ donor for the child of Ekwremadu.
If indeed there was an agreement or consent, then they should have been bold enough to state it clearly in the visa application form that the young man was going to donate his kidney.
Also, why was there no written agreement signed by the boy, the Ekwemadu's and at least one of the boy's relations? Maybe his father, mom, sibling?
