I have an unconditional offer from Essex and I've paid my deposit.

Hello

IHS is a set fee calculated per year and broken down into months if you have a longer visa duration (more than 1year).
I am yet to see anyone pay more IHS with the same visa duration, i.e same 1year and more fees.if you do pay more it is because your visa duration is longer.

Can your friend kindly send you a link that justifies what he said about higher IHS and same visa duration?
P.S this is under the same visa catergory (in this case student visa) IHS for other visa catergories will differ

You still don't get it. It is UKVI that creates this numbers and assigns them to schools so once the CAS number on an application is correct, UKVI uses it to access the CAS details to check that they align with what you have on their system. Whether or not you submit your CAS statement to UKVI, they still need to conduct a check on their own systems to check that the CAS number exists and is not expired.

That’s the problem with you folks, everything is not cast on stone.
That policy is not engraved on a stone that an ECO can’t say otherwise. And they ve requested for it in times past
The Op is free to do as he wishes but don’t be quick n naive to say it’s false when you have a limited practical experience about this.
To be on a safe side was why I advised him to upload and save himself hassle of NSF n time wasting.
UKVI isn’t God and their system isn’t fault-proof

I eventually got a date for my wife on premium. I also secured a future date, July 22 precisely. But I was able to do the biometrics on family Flexi with my wife.

If you are the applicant, it's advisable it is in one account if you are applying together.....

The best is that it should be in husband account if the wife is the main applicant....while applying the wife (MA) will fill in spouse (husband) details while the husband will fill in wife details as financially dependant......

With this, there won't be any NSF for POF

Try booking the far date you see online then amend afterwards. A few people have tried that method and it worked for them.

However, if you have dependents, I’m sure you can find closer dates. Book theirs, then yours for the farther date and you can pay for walk in service on the day of their appointment.

I have checked till 2023..no date that’s why I’m saying can it be the website
