In this interview granted in Hausa Language, Dr Baba Ahmed, the Northern Elders Forum Spokesman, queried what the North has gained from voting fellow northerners. He used Buhari government as an example of how insisting on a northerner might not be beneficial to the north after all. He therefore stated that Arewa will vote competence and credibility - someone not corrupt and has ability to fix Nigeria, whether he’s Igbo, Hausa or Yoruba. People who understand Hausa should help us interpret more. So let’s define competence in pictures Picture 1…… peter obi couldn’t increase igr for complete 8 years as governor n Obiano tripled it within a year n also increased salary by 15% Is that same peter obi competent? If peter obi couldn’t handle d economy of a tiny anambra what makes u think he’s competent to handle a whole Nigeria? Picture 2….tinubu quadruple the igr of Lagos state as governor which automatically led to reduction in unemployment among others Who should b trusted with our money? The one who could add a kobo to igr or d one who quadruple it? It’s all up to us Picture 3….as a pass graduate from philosophy I blame people who entrusted d lives n economy of a whole state in d hands of a bad investor n someone who couldn’t see beyond his nose in investment no wonder he lost a huge chunk of his so called investment whereas tinubu a first class graduate of accounting investment 4bn n also quadruple it again Who will u trust your money with? Lastly I will take peter obi supporters serious if they can go to peter obi home state and campaign for him on Monday 1 Like

Factcheck0001: To your first claim, Peter Obi is not a fan of excessive taxing. Because he believes taxation kills businesses and as a preacher of SMEs, you do not expect him to be taxing small businesses all in a bid to increase IGR. Instead, Peter Obi believes in cutting cost and blocking wastages which would free up already existing funds. 2. You claim Tinubu quadrupled Lagos IGR. Fine, but at what cost? Lagos is the most expensive place to run a business or an SME in Nigeria because different govt agencies will kill with taxes. If it’s not LASAA coming to collect money because of the little banner you printed in front of your shop, then it’s LAWMA or Owomida criminals or Iyaloja boys. Before you know it, the capital that was used in starting a business is exhausted in paying taxes. Again, despite the quadrupling of Lagos IGR, Lagos was the most indebted state in Nigeria by the time Tinubu left office and still is; because he started the culture of borrowing. But do you know that Peter Obi governed Anambra for 8 years without borrowing 1 naira even though he did increase IGR through indiscriminate taxing? Go and verify. 3. Your claim about the value of Peter Obi investment in International Brewery has been explained many times but you people seem to always cling irredeemably to lies. Is naira still maintaining the value it was maintaining against the dollar by the time Peter Obi made that investment today? Are you going to deny the double digits inflation (if you know what that is) that we have today and are you going to deny that the Naira has been scandalously devalued? All these things culminated to devalue Peter Obi’s investment. We are talking about Obi that invested at all. Where is Tinubu’s investment on behalf of Lagos State let it be that it’s devalued? My greatest surprise in this whole thing is how Most arewas are openly and confidently in support of Nigerians redemption through obi but some so called educated people in the south are vehemently against the good of the nation. Sacrificing the future of our nation at the altar of tribalism. God bless Nigerians of good will. God the obidient team. God bless the federal republic of Nigeria 2 Likes |

Moh247: Dear Tinubu Campaigner It is not Rocket Science for anyone to know that no SANE, SOUND AND EDUCUCATED PERSON who has not been bribed or is blindly tribalistic would be choosing Tinubu over Peter Obi. There couldnt have been national interest in their choice, it has to be purely selfish and tribal. In terms of Nigerian Survival here, Obi compared to Tinubu We are talking about 2012 toyota corolla, you are talking about kekenapep We are showing you Canadian visa, you are choosing Liberian Visa. We want to give you a Pot of freshly made Egusi soup full of meat, chicken and stock fish with a Bottle of Ragolis water, and you would rather have Gala and pure water. What could be the rational for choosing somebody like Tinubu over OBI.
