Yea, an attack on Boko Haram is an attack on the North. Buhari was a disaster foretold that Tinubu in his foolishness decided to align with and set the country at least 15 years back.

grin

Same way Tinubu was responsible for Lekki shooting, same way Buhari is responsible for Bokoharam Activities in the North.

I gerrit bruh.

What are we now complaining about? It's only one day since UPTH doctors stopped surgeries. Let's see what Buhari and APC will do in another 13 months

The only thing tinubu supporters are clinging onto is to post meagre drops of what he did in Lagos spread across 8 years with the highest state budget of Nigeria.

My fellow Nigerians, don't be decieved.
First of all, don't forget that this man hasn't even told us what he intends to do. He hasn't subjected himself to cross-examinations like Peter Obi constantly does.
I have had to search far and wide to see Tinubu grant interviews and videos of him speaking to journalists, I can't find any. Only a few of him giving few rehearsed speeches in his comfort zone. (Before other politicians).

Ooasis07 drop a video of Tinubu being cross-examined by a journalist and collect 5k sharp Sharp . We've seen Obi been questioned toughly about his source of wealth and even when he was questioned about the Pandora papers and his defense, show us tinubu also answering those questions.

Also important that we don't forget this.

donjazet:
Lagos pre 1999.

Imagine having the deepest seaport in Africa, the biggest international airport in Africa for a very long time.
More than 100 countries building their embassies in one place.
Many international bodies building their regional headquarters in one place.

Many multinational corporations situating their corporate headquarters in one place.

77 years of constant federal government infrastructure investment from both colonial and Nigerian government.
One place having a headstart in development before all other places. First church, first school, first bridge constructed, a lot of first here and there.
All these before 1999.

And someone comes here and says Tinubu built Lagos. That's the highest fallacy and blunder one could commit.

TINUBU DIDN'T MAKE LAGOS!
LAGOS MADE TINUBU!

Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by donjazet(m): 12:55pm On Jul 02, 2022
And we talk about Lagos now, let's not make the mistake of glorifying it as a heaven on earth, indeed Lagos might be the best place to live in Nigeria, but mind this is not the flex you think it is, it is an indictment on the state of Nigeria. Because even there, there is widespread evidence of poor planning, everyone generating his own power with generator, poor quality of roads and road networks. Poor healthcare facilities.

Even South Africa and Egypt has better hospitals than us.

donjazet:
I laugh when people say tinubu built Lagos, if anything, he destroyed it!!
Lagos cannot be compared to any other big city around the world despite it's potential.

Poor electricity
Poor public transportation
Poor health facilities
Poor education: except very few rich private schools but with outdated teaching curriculums. Poor universities.
Even a gross mismanagement of public funds!

The only pass mark was his ability to increase tax revenue but even at that, he failed at it's effective utilization and keeps legally stealing a large portion of it.

Lagos state is supposed to be soo much better than it is. Do you know what it means to be both the economic hub and administrative hub of the richest country in Africa?

America has newyork and Washington separate, south Africa has Cape town and Johannesburg separate. Nigeria had the 2 centers, both financial and political HQ in one place and that place can still not be developed properly.

There is difference between Lagos City and Lagos State. Lagos Island is the real Lagos (Eko), rest parts are simply part of Lagos State.

Pre-1999, the Ahmadu Bello Way, the stretch of the street facing the Eko Atlantic City and, indeed, almost the whole of Victoria Island, had become an eyesore. Also there wasn't any Settlement known as Lekki Pennisula and its environs.

The ocean surge had practically washed off the Ahmadu Bello Way and parts of Victoria Island. Multibillion naira structures, including states’ liaison offices and other business concerns on adjoining streets within that axis, including Bishop Oluwole, Adetokunbo Ademola, Akin Adesola etc had relocated elsewhere.

The story is different today. What was hitherto described as a “disaster zone” has become a multi-billion dollar city of prosperity, thanks to a man who dares to dream big.

He envisioned the Lekki Free Trade Zone, the $3.5billion Lekki Deep Seaport as a sprawling industrial corridor to revitalise the economy of the state. The Free Trade Zone is home to the $17 billion Dangote Refinery and Petrochemical Complex and other multinational companies.

It was hard work and not sheer luck that made Lagos’ GDP balloon to over $150 billion within 20years. If Lagos were to be a sovereign country, it will be the 6th largest economy in Africa. What could possibly be a better testament of Tinubu’s leadership ingenuity than this feat!

Let’s shift our focus to the Eko Atlantic City, a new international city of commerce, which has been described as one of the top five engineering feats in the world. A smart city with the full compliments and trappings of modernity, Eko Atlantic City, according to information gleaned from its website, is “standing on 10 million square metres of land reclaimed from the ocean and protected by an 8.5-kilometre long sea wall.

Lagos State is birthing new Cities, thanks to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Obaino, I don't like when I see things like these, I keep saying it, because you have gone out of the country doesn't mean every single person will leave this country. You that left the country, shebi this meant, that you are now soo far away from everyone who meant something to you growing up throughout your life?

As you went away, you did not leave with your father, mother, your most beloved uncle or aunty or your best cousin? Different people have different angle of what life really means

You left this country in search of better economic opportunities, but what if not all families are desperate for those "better economic opportunities" because they are doing relatively very well in the country and they are surrounded by people they love?

The extended families attend each other's birthdays, new marriages, they all welcome new children to the family, they have family disputes and resolve them, all the cousins have fantastic times with each other and Evey family member has a strong bond with each other?

Are these not the very basic essence of life?

When people say the kind of things you've just said, telling people to give up on their country, I believe it is an attack to all nigerians.
If you can't see this, that's a pretty damn shame.

Imagine trying to accredit federal government funded projects to tinubu and also accredit projects of subsequent Lagos state governors to Tinubu.

One would think Tinubu has been the governor of Lagos for 20 years and that the Nigerian state has not actually invested more money in Lagos than any other state in the country.

Give us the funding structure of the lekki seaports.

And most importantly, don't forget this.

We are not obsessed! We are terrified that a grand looter is seeking access to our national vault.
We are terrified of what a Tinubu presidency symbolizes. The further entrenchment of corruption in Nigeria.

The further decay of our national unity and human infrastructure.
The further mainstreaming of failed economic policies.

Tinubu is a part and parcel of this present government. You cannot detach Tinubu from Buhari. They are coequal partners in this government!

And we are all terrified. We are scared with our lives. If that is obsession by you, fine.

Tinubu is depending on, (sorry for the lack of a better word) "fools" like this to parade his campaign talking points.

Every single Peter Obi fan you know has watched numerous videos of peter obi, both defending his government experience and past policies and envisioning his plans for Nigeria.

Anambra state was only about 10 years old when peter obi became it's governor and he set up a lot of what the subsequent government work upon.

Don't mind them, it's almost as if they want people to think Lagos is a utopian city in Africa.

When it's the very worst there is. Lagos city is ranked just below somalia, imagine that.

Facts only

In 2006, Tinubu made a trip to China to facilitate the idea of the Lekki Free Trade Zone.

In 2006, the Lekki Free Trade Zone was established.

Today, it is the most successful Free Trade Zone in the country with a Deep Sea Port and the biggest single refinery in the world.
