larride: It was either fake news or the Hospital management fault by default. There is no assisted breathing unit in any hospital without backup generators that trigger automatically for Operating Theatre, ICU or Incubation units. Same goes for MRI machines which are extremely difficult and extremely expensive to restart when they are shut down. If Hospitals rely solely on NEPA for these units, every single patient in these units will die daily in Hospitals all over the country as soon as light is cut. Any medical professional would immediately place blame in such a scenario on the Hospital management. We already know NEPA is useless and can't be relied upon for Assisted breathing units. The case of billionaire Keniebi Okoko who died during surgery in a Lagos private Hospital when the backup generator failed to activate shows that ultimate responsibility falls on Hospital management to ensure their backup generators are in shape. 8 Likes 1 Share |

Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 12:09pm On Jul 04, 2022 |
kingBolton: Let Obi just accept to be Vice. If they win and perform well, in 8 years, Kwankwaso would raise his hand and return the favour. This guy is the ticket to complete that 3rd force |

izzou: VP in Nigerian Constitution is a lame duck. If Obi accepts a role that is more or less one of first lady with extra privileges, what happens to his obidient supporter base? Do they automatically start supporting kwankwaso? How does that even work? 4 Likes |
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 12:30pm On Jul 04, 2022 |
nihilistjnr: If he steps down for Kwankwaso, his supporters have no choice but to key in. Unless we just want to lie to ourselves, the population that would vote along ethnic, religious and party lines are in the majority. Victory can only be guaranteed through numbers, not with English and sense. Let these guys merge and make this change achievable 4 Likes |

izzou: Maybe you're right but PO was vice in 2019 and there was voter apathy among those who are now clamouring for him. The moment he steps down, there goes the whole buzz. My opinion though. |

Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by kingBolton: 4:42pm On Jul 04, 2022 |
izzou:If obi agrees to be his vice, obi will lose most of his supporters. You just need to see the reaction on twitter yesterday from Obidients after that Kwankwaso interview. They don't want obi to be the vice, they want obi to be the president and Kwankwaso the vice. Secondly, I don't think Kwankwaso has what it takes to win a presidential election now, Kwankwaso is contesting to test his own political strength in the north now in preparation for 2027. Kwankwaso main objective in 2023 is to wrestle Kano state back from Ganduje. 2 Likes |
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by kingBolton: 4:49pm On Jul 04, 2022 |
larride:His main objective in 2023 is to win Kano state back from Ganduje, which is very much possible now with his recent alignment with ibrahim shekarau. It's now Ganduje vs Kwankwaso and shekarau whereas in 2019 it was Ganduje and shekarau vs Kwankwaso. Currently, his presidential ambition is just testing the water. More like knowing his strength in the north that he will use as a bargaining chip in 2027. |

larride: Be original. Not all of us depend on sucking the virtûal dicks of politicians like you are known for, more so kleptomaniac drug barons for our daily meals. Some of us have real professions independent of the patronage of treasury thieves and have to put in the time away from Nairaland to pay our bills. Not all of us depend on the benevolence or pittance from the tables of very persons who have wrecked Nigeria to feed. I have to go to work. I have to sort bills. I have to connect with clients. Then when I am done with what's important, I return at dusk or whenever to decimate you and send you to mental hades. Again, you virtual praise-singer for hirer, why do you support a sickly kleptomaniac with a drug-trafficking history? |
