The mistake being made with this line of reasoning is that you hatred doesn't stop the man from doing what he wants to do, but it limits you from reaching your potential because you are too distracted with hating your father for something he is doing when you can let the hatred go and focus on yourself.
My father eventually understood his mistakes at the end but it was a little bit late to start rectifying most because he had missed out on the time.... It's a very sad situation. The only advice I will give u is channel this energy to something good. Learn an IT skill that u can use to help ur self step up at least. U can teach urself anything for free. Just have data, open a YouTube account and research, download and learn. Hating him or wishing him dead won't solve anything. Stay focused even when it's difficult. Just try. At 19 u still have so much time to be anything u want even if it means starting again from scratch. Use the passion and love for ur mom to steer urself. Good luck

OP sorry o, but don't compare yourself with your friends who are into yahoo , you are young and you're studying a good course. The only advice i can give you is that you should look for a job to do during this period of ASUU strike, you can look for a teaching job, a lesson teacher, sales boy, pump attendant e.t.c
I would say learn a skill o, but to do that you need lots of money.
You can start by telling people around your neighborhood, church that you're looking for a job. At least a job can help you pay back your loans and you can save up for when school resumes.
