lakesidepapa:My thoughts too. I think Payne and Alozie will be the wingbacks, while Ajibade will play in the ‘hole’ a.k.a. the AM role |

SA currently on top having most of the possession with the ball largely in our half. However, no chances have been fashioned out yet by both sides. |

The BB have the upper hand as the match is progressing, Nigeria needs to wake up from their slumber, CK #3 to the short BB again. Danger averted for SF |
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by daveP(m): 6:17pm On Jul 04, 2022 |
Arsenate:Southies can even string 2. My fear is make Oshoala sha shake that knock abeg. We need her |

Alozie seems out of sorts - not picking up her marker and constantly making wrong passes. She needs to settle down |

17 minutes gone, game situation Nigeria nil, BB yet to score. |

Fine play from the back by Plumptre, Oshoala almost getting a clear sight of goal but attempt well blocked by the BB goalie. |

Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by daveP(m): 6:34pm On Jul 04, 2022 |
Wait, who is the AM btw Ajibade and Rita? |
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Arsenate(m): 6:34pm On Jul 04, 2022 |
justicechichex:Clearly an instruction from the coach, which is frustrating. The girls always seem in a hurry to hit the ball forward when an easier pass to someone closer is the better option. Really poor tactics. |

Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Arsenate(m): 6:42pm On Jul 04, 2022 |
justicechichex:Awful, really. I don't remember the Falcons being this unpleasant to watch, especially against an African team. Very reminiscent of Rohr's Super Eagles. Both coaches being advocates of systems that stiffle creativity in favor of defence solidity. |
