The Executive Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom has given a high tensed warning to the winds during his appearance in Politics Today on Channels Television. The outspoken governor who dropped the warning while answering questions, threw the challenge at Seun for not allowing him to express his opinions concerning the unhealthy happenings in Nigeria. 

According to the video monitored by Family Writers Press International, Seun that anchored the very program said he had just applied a rule of his profession by calling the governor to order for making an extreme statement about the security of the country, Nigeria. He said, "Extreme thoughts are not for television like this.

“That is my problem with Channels Television. You always don’t want somebody to say the truth. If you don’t want me to appear on your program just tell me there is not need. I will always tell you the truth. Things are going down. Nigeria is going down the drain under your watch as a television network and you don’t want us to say the truth.”

I pity so many people who support this government. The only good thing to celebrate is that we are in it together.

Ortom adopted Fayose's strategy and took it up ten notches.

Ortom has absolutely nothing to brag about when it comes to good governance. Dude has accummulated the most debt in Benue state, raising the state's debt profile by over 300 percent of what was accummulated by his predecessors combined since 1999.

His predecessors built roads, housing estates, teaching hospital, medical college, general hospitals across the state, etc. Suswam left the state with three months owed. When Ortom was campaigning in 2015, he wept in a Catholic church over the suffering of the people for the three months being owed. Today, the same man is owing between 3 to 9 months (tertiary institutions and medical staff alongside some MDAs, 9 months) to workers, while pensioners are owed 72 months!!

When he speaks, those who have no idea what he's doing to his state would be clapping for him, and this is the encouragement he gets to keep doing evil.

While denying the state all that, his private Oracle Business Empire has been growing in leaps and bounds. So much so he even built for himself a polytechnic in the heart of Makurdi township. Wherever he manages to put some asphalt on ground, you need no one to tell you he's purchased acres of lands around the area.

That is who Ortom is- a very strange character rooted in sheer wickedness. No state deserves such a man for a governor.

Just hold on, zombies will flood in to chase shadows telling you how the governor is not working. People with shit in their head.

Mtcheew. True true, Buhari has failed in security and the economy. Basically, Buhari has failed in almost every facet apart from infrastructure where I'll grudgingly give him a B. High score but for the first time since our demo-crazy started, an administration is seriously giving thought to the huge infrastructural deficit that bedevils the nation. That said, Samuel Ortom should just keep quite. This man is the perfect definition of failure who latches onto the state of insecurity in his state as a ready made excuse for his monumental failure. Even Borno state which is the hotbed of Boko Haram still has a whole lot of achievements in governance to show. EL Rufai inspite of the security challenges in Kaduna has a score card to show. Maybe Samuel Ortom should show us what he has been able to achieve in over 7 years of being a governor in Benue state.

Of course, the ediotic blogger wouldn't report this part of the conversation to ignite vain arguments. Seun Okinbaloye was right for asking Ortom to maintain decorum and watch his choice of words on tv.

Channels TV has been sanctioned many times by the government through the NBC. When they were settling those fines, everybody was quiet.

They fought the fight alone.

Now, you expect them to do their job knowing fully well that the government will come for them.

If NBC ban dem from broadcasting for 6 months, una go put mouth?
