When election was approaching, he hurriedly took some earth moving equipment to the road, removed all the asphalt, poured laterite all over, deceiving the people he's about to reconstruct the road- alas, after the election, dude abandoned our people to keep breathing in dust from dusk till dawn, TO THIS VERY DAY. Imagine the health issues that come with that.

The state government hasn't laid even a single burnt brick on ground in Oju or Obi since Ortom took over. If he has, point me to it. Look at how shabby COE appears, like some jungle where you could go hunt game. Ortom hasn't bought even a single exercise book for that school library since he became the governor.

Remember the recent crisis that made the Oju Awaji road impassable for nearly two years!! Ortom did nothing to intervene as the neighboring Tiv and Igede communities kept killing their people. Since Fulanis weren't involved and he couldn't gain any political capital from the incident, he cared less about fixing it.

Ortom is an extremely wicked man that cares not a hoot about anyone but himself, and it's very disappointing reading what you just write.

Mr. Ortom live on Arise News yesterday said just as much. After he spoke his usual piece about insecurity & the FG, he was tackled on his inability to pay salaries. Actually, those journalists all but accused him of using the insecurity in his State as an excuse to hide his inadequacies. His answer surprisingly was that his outspokenness and refusal to rollover and play the deaf mute to the killings in his State had earned him the naughty corner in his financial dealings with the FG. Citing a minister who had claimed that the FG needed to borrow just to pay salaries, he alleged that he only owed arrears and was blocked from also taking out a loan from a local bank to offset those salary arrears by the same FG. Seun of channels tv had the option of steering the conversation away from those hot areas today but didn’t! If u know u won’t like the answer, don’t ask the question. Whether he spoke truth or not is immaterial to the self acclaimed best tv station for the umpteenth time, they just don’t want the same kind of trouble Agba Jalingo and David Hundeyin have had. Which makes me wonder at the reliability of the fourth estate in Nigeria, do they serve the people or their own interests??
