ejimatic: Are you deliberately being obtuse? Training school stipend is 75k. This year graduate trainee are currently in training school (Blue Academy). They resumed on Monday. Training is for two months. When you leave training school, you grade is ABO. And your starting take him salary after ALL deduction is 350k. You delight in being ignorant and it's annoying. I am not thinking there's a bank that pays that much. I am telling you factually because I work here and we pay 350k to our fresh graduate trainees after training school. 8 Likes 1 Share |

richmondefosa:. Is that what you pay every month after their training? 350k ? Any evidence? As for your unguarded , uncouth and uncultured utterancess I won't comment on them because it is a reflection of yiour experience and maturity. I doubt if yiou talk to your customers that way in your bank if truky you are a staff. there. Finally I want to advise you don't bring a topical issue to the plartform if you don't have the wherewithal to relate to people.... |

Rich4god: Hi Sorry I missed out on your earlier mention. At this stage, if you were successful in the interview, you should be expecting a mail advising you on the hospital to visit to do your medicals. 2 Likes |

ejimatic: I have tried as much as I can to be civil with you on this platform. I still think I am civil. I haven't stepped out of line. I told you how much GT's earn. Yet, you're still asking. Prodding for answers that have already been given. You've gone a step further to show you evidence of my payslip. You must be living in delusion if you think I'd do that. I don't even owe you any explanation sef. My contribution on this thread is for posterity. I want people to look back in time and see that my contributions were helpful to them in making the right choice. I will not make any comment here in regards to our customers. Anything that'll put my organisation in bad light will not be linked to me. I pride myself as an exceptional staff. Lastly, I will not dignify a faceless individual with any more response. 10 Likes 1 Share |

richmondefosa: My last question... You know how all these Nigerian banks used to do. Sometimes, we will be hearing of banks like Access, UBA, Fidelity and co doing massive lay off. Does stanbic do such.? |

Hello Richmondefosa, I really appreciate your contribution to this thread as it is rare these days when job seekers are seeking information into organisations they want to join. I have a question which is not stanbic related and I thought you might have an answer since you're in the sector. Please do you have an idea of how much NIBSS pays Graduate trainees? I need the info to know if I should continue my recruitment process with them. Thank you for your swift response as always. richmondefosa: |

ejimatic: Actually you're right it's kind of hard to fathom that a bank will pay an entry level 350K......for the case of stanbic...their entry level starts from the Grade of ABO....if you pair them with the ABO pay grade of other banks it's kind of below what other banks pays that Grade. Other Banks grade starts from ET/GT and after that you move to EA and after EA you move to ABO whereas, that of Stanbic starts from ABO that is why the satrting salary is 350k wheres other banks own is 200+ or 180+. 4 Likes 1 Share |

richmondefosa: Hi good day. Thanks for all the info you have shared so far. Please how good is Stanbic Appraisal bonus for ABO's who scored like an A Grade? |
Re: Your Thoughts On Nigerian Banks Salaries 2021 by richmondefosa(m): 5:26pm On Jul 14, 2022 |
timtowy: Hi Timtowy, Your appraisal bonus depends on a lot of factors. Your individual performance, your team performance, your unit performance, the bank performance in the financial year, etc. Appraisal bonus of some of my colleagues in back office range was from 500k. some got 800 (their unit is not in the bank. they were in pension). some people i know in branches got 400k |

richmondefosa: Thanks bro. Do you think some people in Head office might have gotten more? Like up to a million for ABO's with good appraisal score? |

Re: Your Thoughts On Nigerian Banks Salaries 2021 by richmondefosa(m): 1:55pm On Jul 17, 2022 |
timtowy: I honestly do not think so. When I joined the Bank, I worked at the head office and I didn't know many people and their grade or what they earned. I was still a newbie who wanted to just do his job and make impact. Over 3 years and counting, I work in the branch now and can only speak for the people I know. But in all honesty, I don't think any ABO in the head office can get up to a million. Haba |

Thank you for your kind service to humanity through this thread. Sir my question is this, does having a certification in finance related field (E.g CFA,BIDA,FMVA, ICAN, CBCA etc) have an advantage when joining the bank as a graduate trainee? Thank you! |

richmondefosa: My sister just completed her medicals for the role of ATM custodian, she's yet to receive an offer though. She possibly might get other offers and she's confused. What should she expect ? Will she be posted to a branch or ? What's the salary like ? Is it a position she can grow ? |
