erico2k2: The minimum requirement for met police/police Scotland is indefinite leave to remain. Not necessarily British passport. You’re probably working with outdated information. You need to keep up with recent developments. 7 Likes |

bigtt76:Explore the option of using VPN to access these crypto apps. You can also get a UK bank card using Wise (Formerly known as Transferwise). If you know any trust worthy person here in the UK, then open a pounds account and use the person’s address as your address so they can deliver your debit card to them. They’ll receive the card in a week or less. Your Nigerian phone number should work just fine and you can always change the address when you get to the UK. 1 Like |

erico2k2: Bros, Your ‘problem’ is that you have been in the UK for too long (according to your previous post). Un(fortunately), there are people coming n this forum who have been here longer than you. Secondly, some may be too ‘polite’ to tell you, but I will say it as it is: Your responses to people on this thread is outrightly rude. You have a very rude way of responding to people. That is unbecoming of a Band 8c professional. I think you need to introspect. You may have been In the UK since 2000, but you don’t know everything and anything. Even Google doesn’t know everything. I have tried to tolerate your rudeness (to others). And now you are responding very rudely to me. I repeat, you may know a lot, but you don’t know everything. Humble yourself, come off your high horse, and learn. Thank you very much. Yours sincerely, Me ( and a lot of others on this thread that you have been rude to). 38 Likes |

rayralph: Thank you rayralph. In Africa, we respect elders. Especially those that have been in the UK since 2000. But They are not always right. Sometimes, they have very outdated and information. It is our collective responsibility to correct them in such cases. Erico2k2 is wrong here, no mincing words. 5 Likes |

Yea but using VPN with crypto apps may lead to your being blocked so I've not ventured that route. Yes I have Wise but again same probably because of my IP address it says not available in your country. I will try that and see when I get in. Thanks bro. Amarathripple0: |

The requirements for SIA is not that long again. You can easily apply for the badge one month after you enter the UK sef, even weeks if you have the documents they require. What they require now is proof of English, First Aid certificate, a two group documents, passport photograph and police character report from Nigeria if you are a Nigerian. Group A: you are required to submit means of identification e.g BRP, driver’s license, passport and etc. Group B: you are required to submit two documents that confirms your identity and your address e.g bank statement, credit card statement, council tax bill, letter from council and etc. Training is usually around £430.00 ish plus and badge around £190.00 or so. The training is usually a week and it takes around two months for the license to be issued. It’s pretty straightforward and direct to get if one is willing to invest £620.00 plus into it. Different companies offer this service eg getlicensed, f1training and etc 5 Likes 2 Shares |

I think the best thing would've been listen on to understand what s/he could be trying to scam you off and cut the line. That way you are able to prepare against the next call that may come in. Right now you don't know their next step. In all you do though, do not give out your personal details on phone to anyone. Pogracious: |

yoged: 25/05/2022 The Hiring Manager Health Care Ltd 46 Twick Road St Margarets Twickenham TW1 3EH United Kingdom Dear Recruitment Administrator, I am writing in reference to Ruth Ameachi and her job application. I have known Ruth for 12 months as her manager. She is one person I can rely on to do her work diligently. She is a people person, and she will be a positive addition to your company. I found her to be self-motivated, and punctual, and all our clients that she has worked with talk about the extra mile she goes beyond her call of duty. We will miss her, but we are certain she will do herself and us proud in any organisation she finds herself. We wish her well and hope she will one day come to visit. If you require any other additional information, please feel free to contact me on my direct phone number which is on this letter. Yours Sincerely, Adetope Alimosho 9 Likes 15 Shares |
