Dum20:I don't think there's cause for Alarm yet. It's just regulatory issues that has to do with not meeting up with the deadline of result submission.... (MRF - Missed Regulatory Filing). Once the results are submitted and fine paid (or genuine explanation tendered), the suspension will be lifted. 2 Likes |

This people know what they are doing. Imagine a small stock holder with N5,000 worth of accumulated dividend, why will they have to travel from out of their state come all the way to the registrars Lagos office and start all this drama. SEC told them to stop asking for Bankers confirmation before they approve e-dividend, yet many still ask. Most of them don’t even reply to email submission of e-dividend. Best thing for me going forward is to only buy shares in companies that are using reasonable registrars. ololufemi: |

Parisfran:. I have to abandoned my 2019 zenith dividend as veritas insist i that, my broker did not submitted the signed transfer form to them so, I should send mandate form to them through my bank. Morgan capital even shared with me the copy of the signed transfer form they sent to them. |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by ositadima1(m): 6:29pm On Jul 04, 2022 |
Ibrahim505: Are you in Nigeria? If u dey Nija why not got to your bank and have them send the damn mandate form. Alternatively, register with CSCS, Central Security Clearing System, for a very small annual fee. Among other things, in there you can chat with an attendant who can help you follow it up. I once had a similar issue and the attendant was very helpful. 4 Likes |

Ibrahim505: I can imagine. I don’t even want to write all my life history with registrars. Some old 2007 shares are stuck in limbo because the broker was a 1 man business and the business have closed. SEC has details of this transaction, because it’s part of the non-mandated shares on SEC website. Called and emailed the registrar, explained the situation and have asked for the way out, not gotten a single response. These are all relatively small money, but for me it’s the principle of these things. Because this is how people’s assets suddenly disappear and their inheritors end up not having access to the shares or the dividends. Yet SEC is wondering why young Nigerians are investing in foreign stocks and ignoring the NSE. 4 Likes |

How many companies are really making money.........Diesel @ 800 is killing Companies that have to distribute their Goods and services.......Food is going to climb to all time high this year as fertilizers are already selling more than 200% their usual price, same with pesticides, All manufacturing companies that have to source their raw materials outside their production facilities are in soup......... Inflation has eaten deep into the masses purchasing power............. All top line revenue reported by companies when adjusted for real values will show drastic reduction in volume...........................If things continue like this without improvement, serious tsunami awaits NSE.............. I forsee Grand-Pa Bear Market in next 18months 6 Likes |

Despite serious supply problems in the market, oil prices crashed on Tuesday morning due to renewed recession fears and the prospect of demand destruction. Whilst most of 2022 could only be characterized as a period of hardship for Europe’s embattled industries, things are about to get even worse as Russian pipeline supply falls and power prices across the continent soared. https://oilprice.com/Energy/Energy-General/WTI-Drops-Below-100-For-The-First-Time-Since-April.html There is FIRE on the MOUNTAIN RUN!
