Omooba77:
The Minister of Defence, Bashir Magashi, has said none of the Boko Haram suspects detained at Kuje prison in Abuja was found after the attack on the facilities on Tuesday night.

Sources had told Daily Trust that high-profile Boko Haram suspects and bandits escaped during the invasion of the prison on Tuesday night.

Addressing journalists after taking an assessment tour of the facility, the minister said, “The attack started around 10:30pm. They came in their numbers gained entrance into the prison and they released some of the inmates and which we are now following to see the kind of inmates that they have released.

“Very soon, we will give you the correct figure of the inmates that were taken. Aside that, we are trying to see what we can do to ensure that all escapees are returned back.

The prison is accommodating about 994 inmates and over 600 escaped. Many people have been recaptured and brought back to the prison. Maybe by the close of the day, more will have been captured and returned.

“I think everything is under control. The people who came to do this activity, from the records, we believe they belong to a particular group. Most likely, they are Boko Haram members because we have sizeable number of Boko Haram suspects in detention, and presently we cannot locate any of them.

“I think they are about 64 in the prison and none of them now is available they have all escaped.”

we need a new party in power

Apc terrorists sympathetic idealogy would still virus whichever military head you put
If you think party is the issue of Nigeria then you are not being fair to yourself. Think of it like this if your prefered candidate was to be APC's presidential flagbearer will you vote for him?

party has a big party, PDP for instance is a more liberal party, tendency for extremists to operate is limited

Extremists policies, bigotry is reduced in PDP and yes for now only the traditional big parties are the vehicles for getting to power

People create parties, people make ideologies and people enforce manifestos, which is why i domt think along party lines. What made PDP bad yesterday is what makes APC bad today and is what might make LP bad tommorow. We need a personnel change in every facet of nigeria

it's very easy to say in the book

But such change don't happen overnight, it took the opposition lot of time, coming together to cross the hurdle of defeating a sitting president

This was an impossible task many years ago, today an opposition can have hope because people did things realistically

Someone like Obi could have been VP to atiku in 2019 then take over from him that's when the politics of allowing ideas to win can come

Boko haram or whatever they are called stormed a maximum prison in fct and operated for over 1 hour unchallenged and not only that but succeeded in freeing over 60 detained members of their sect is a pointer that government knows one or two things about it.

we are saying the same thing. You are of the belief that peter obi or atiku can bring change not pdp nor labour party but the individual. There are some who will not vote for either if they had been in apc

But if youths just gather in an interior village maybe close to FCT to protest about bad governance, it won't take security forces to chase them away within a few minutes. And yet certain individuals who call themselves hum beings are ready to reinforce funny characters on the masses in 2023. At times I wonder if those supporting this government with all these happenings, are genetically modified creatures specifically created for propaganda purposes.

I hereby exclude myself from those who still believe Nigeria is going to be better without the amendment of the 1999 constitution. I also declare myself a non-mentally enslaved Nigerian who believes in these current selfish and corrupt leaders .

Thank you, at least two of us have not been fooled I don't know about the rest of the 198 million Nigerians left. [/quote]
