Ndibunna: He was pushing for his useless dwarf governor Umahi until he was messed up by APC. Now the ediot is against Obi because he is not from his useless state. Ebonyi people will continue to be slaves in igboland |

Ebubu3: The fact still remains that ebonyi state is a cursed useless worthless and poverty capital of the south east. Ebonyi people are and will forever remain igbo slaves to Anambra. That’s why the only job we can give them in Anambra is wheelbarrow pushing and sales of gala and ice cream. We don’t give them land to build any rubbish because we know who dey are and how they behave. Ebonyi pple behave worse than the Fulani and they’re very envious of the Anambra money. Awka people gave u pple an inch now u pple are overtaking their lands with cultism. Awka pple are looking for doz Abakeleke bastard criminals to burn. Very soon they will give all Abakeleke criminals quit notice from awka |

Excerpt from Amightytree: a view from the southern edge of Akpaka Forest Reserve, looking out toward the southwest where a stretch of newly-cleared land shows preparations for expansion of the old European Quarter, now (in 1960) to be available mainly for housing members of “the new elite” (the term employed by Smythe & Smythe 1960.). The River is just visible beyond a new building complex being laid out at far right-center. ...... ....... ....... This is the same area captured for posterity by a European visitor in 1960. You can see the thick Akpaka forest on the left and the open area cleared for expansion of the then European Quarters (what we now call GRA) on the right of the pic. In the distance, you can just make out the bluish hue of the Niger river. I'll post more nice pics of colonial Onitsha from the website later when i have time. 4 Likes

0neast: Mad aboki with their silly divide and rule tactics. When has attacking the miscreant called Ebubu degenerated into insulting every Ebonyi person? What makes you think that Ebubu's Anti-Anambra stance is shared by every Ebonyian? Aboki has swarmed this thread with too many fake monikers, responding to himself to peddle anti Ebonyi rhetoric! True madness! As if when they insult Ebonyi people and claim to be from Anambra, it would deceive us into believing this faceless aboki on divide and rule mission. 4 Likes |

Leave a troll you quoted and face me. Now let's face it. First and foremost it is an insult to write a progressive Anambra on the same page with a backward state like ebonyi that's filled with illiterates and miscreants. Now let's go.. When Anambra started having flyovers ebonyi was and is still a bush. That you built disco light flyover that only barrow and Okada uses is not the reason you should be talking in public. Anambra has had functional mall with shoprite as anchor since 5yrs ago, but your useless backward ebonyi till date doesn't know what modern shopping feels like. Anambra is playing with stadia like akara, even individuals owns stadia in Anambra, so ebonyi is still a village when it comes to that. Anambra has a standard Federal government funded teaching hospital unlike the village hospital that umahi built and begged FG to take, even though FG had ignored your backward state. Till date FG hasn't seen the need to invest in Federal teaching hospital in your backward ebonyi. Poverty ranking: while ebonyi is a state with the poorest indigenes in Nigeria, whereas Anambra has one of lowest poverty in Nigeria Education: while Anambra is the most educationally most advanced state in Nigeria, ebonyi is among the lowest and still competing with boko haram ravaged Northern states. While millions of ebonyi people are trooping to Anambra for greener pasture, you cannot find up 100 Anambra people in your backward Ebonyi state. Airport: Anambra has the best airport in Nigeria aside Abuja and Lagos International Airport. Ebonyi Airport is a mediocre and even if it ever get completed, it will be useless because no airline will agree to go there because of low patronage. Ebonyi people are the poorest in Southern Nigeria and cannot sustain minimum airport traffic. Already Anambra international airport is among the busiest in Nigeria right now While Anambra has 5 star hotels, serene environment, event centers, largest ICC in Nigeria, etc. Ebonyi doesn't even have 1 star hotel. Ebonyi people are like slaves and outcasts in Anambra because they are categorised alongside abok1s and given similar jobs like barrow pushers, security men, etc While Anambra is the economic hub of the eastern Nigeria, ebonyi on the other hand is the poverty capital of Southern Nigeria I can go on and on, but digest these points to see how below ebonyi is when compared to Anambra. Look for your mates in Northern Nigeria. Ebubu3: 1 Like |

Ebubu3: I don't want to get involved in this mudslinging but Umahi is a shameless man , who doesn't understand what leadership entails. Southeast governor forum chairman without any sensible achievement. All he ever achieved was to keep fighting Anambra as if that will make Ebonyi any better. I don't think Umahi understands the population of Ebonyi people residing in Anambra. He achieved something tangible in his time which will end soon but he never invested in his people, rather he used all funds available to erect structures that's little or no benefits to the average poor Ebonyi. Building airport, flyover and school of medicine will not pull people out of poverty. 6 Likes |

Ebubu3, if Anambra were to be a country, ebonyi indigenes would be sleeping in Anambra embassy just to acquire Anambra visa. You need to know your mate. States like Zamfara, Sokoto, Jigawa, etc, are ebonyi mates in development. 3 Likes |

TabletMan:You are right that Omanbala is not that expansive but you are wrong to say that nkisi is close to akpaka Forest. From the map below the river is probably the Niger but you can see the northwards expansion is squeezed by Omanbala River such that it's going towards Nsugbe by the banks if Omanbala instead of towards Anam by the banks of the Niger 1 Like
