Try to link the relationship with your sponsor; the following docs or info could help: Photos taken together with the sponsor in a family or other event Proof of support prior to your application Sponsor’s name written in any of your civil documents, Most importantly, let your sponsor pay at least one-semester tuition fee from his/her account. Also, note that the VO is concerned about the sponsor's financial capacity since he is not a close relative. If you intend to use the sponsor again, the funds should be improved. It is difficult for the VO to believe that a cousin will spend such an amount for you when he is not financially buoyant. Wesay01: 1 Like |

Mkaye: Hi 1)If you are a Bachelor's degree holder, you have a minimum of 2.1 and you looking for a Masters Graduate scholarship in research areas in your field of discipline, read everything in the link below https://www.nairaland.com/6957495/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/648#113697664 If you have 2.2, 3rd Class it's either you apply for a Post Graduate Certificate (PG.Cert) at a Canadian College in a Program related to your Academic background (if you don't have study gaps ,i.e if it's not too long you graduated from the University ) or you apply to a Program related to your work experience e.g You can be a Microbiology graduate but with 5 years work experience as a Human Resource manager (HRM) that being said, you can go for a PG. Cert in HRM program even though you don't have an Academic background in it. Unfortunately, there are no scholarships for PG.CERT Programs in Canadian Colleges, you gotta pay the tuition. 2) Await the response of the gurus to your no. 2 question 3) After the completion of your 2-years Masters and at least 1-year full-time work experience in Canada out of your 2-3 years PGWP (Post Graduate Work Permit) that you are gonna be given, you will be eligible to apply for the CEC (Canadian Experience Class) category of express entry for PR, there are also other PR pathways e.g PNP (Provincial Nominee Program) etc. Await additional Inputs from others Good luck |

Good morning all. Please seniors and elders on this group, I need your honest opinion on what to do. I applied on the 30th of Oct. Did upfront medical on the 2nd of nov. 2021 and it was updated as pass on the 29th of December. Since I didn't get PPR, I deferred from Jan to September 2022. 30th March 2022, they requested I send my new passport bio-data as the one i used in applying will expire in August this year. I couldn't meet the deadline they kept for me so I sent a letter explaining why and even showed prove that I had started the process of getting a new passport. In May 4th, I got the passport and I send the data page via Webform for them. Since then till now i have been sending mails and Webforms but no response. So i asked, is there anyone here that has send repeated mails and Webform and eventually got a positive feedback because I have Been sending daily since first week of May. |

Hi good Morning everyone, Please I’m new here and I just started my admissions process for some colleges in Canada. I have been reading about the Proof of Funds part of the immigration side and I would need some guidance, I honestly do not have the required funds (want to use those POF agents) what advice can you give because I have noticed that the money needs to be in the account for a couple of months. Will really appreciate any advice and suggestions |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Teezkid: 7:36am On Jul 07, 2022 |
The answer to your no 2 is yes. What you can upload for the relationship with you and your uncle is possibly his marriage certificate or his birth certificate ( any one ), that is to show a linkage between the both of you if he is related to you as one of your parents in- law or sibling, you can also attach the Birth certificate or marriage certificate of your parent ( that is to link on whom your uncle is related to). If you have any old sponsorship he has done for you in the past; like pay something for you, you can include that in your application. if you have any old picture or any old message you people have had, you can also include that. The most thing is to know about a genuine relationship. Then he can offer to write a letter of sponsorship or an affidavit of support for your application ( you can use anyone ) Mkaye: |

Good morning great minds, please someone should help me out with my questions. I got delayed last month, due to personal assets and financial status. I have been able to complete the tuition balance because i only paid first semester before. Now I want to reapply, in my first application I submitted salary account statement of 5 months and mybankstatement of 5 months in the account I have my POF. Q1: Can I use the same salary statement I used for the first application? Has anyone done it and got PPR? Q2: Or should I not submit SOA for salary since I have a different account for POF? thank you for the prompt response. |

Hi, just because you hate something or you were proactive does not mean you should spread negative vibes. Applying with a one year passport to expiration is not a crime. The visa process is expected to take 3 months, leaving 9 months to expiry and any visa office will still give you a visa on a 9 months to expiry passport. Its just unfortunate his application has taken that long. Encourage rather than castigate. flower1019078: 2 Likes |

Hi, Sorry about your experience, I think them requesting for a new passport is a positive sign. Maybe you should consider sending a mail to one of the MPs in your province. You can search this forum to see if you can find a mail address or check IRCC's website I truly believe you will be given the Visa. Take care Kidsister13: |
