giselle237:I don’t think so. I think they’re treated by the same Eco except they went for biometrics on different days. I used to think they’re being treated by different eco’s but I have first hand experiences of 3 cases. I applied with my family (5 of us). I’m the principal applicant. We did biometrics together & our checklist and passport copies were binded together. After few weeks, I started sending paid emails. The day I got decision has been made for one person was the day I got decision made for everyone. Unfortunately I got collection mail for 3 & the 2 others are yet to get theirs. What might have happened? My take here would be from dhl and vac. These passports are returned individually & there are specific days VAC’s mail out collection letters to avoid overcrowding or due to shortage of staffs. Passports are returned individually but does not necessarily mean, applications are treated the same (there is a chance though) but from my experience, my brothers & another family that I know of… I think it’s usually treated by the same Eco |

Let him get at least 6 months bank statement..... that will be too long a time for the Decision making officials to assume a fishy deposit JaySterling: |

JaySterling: Brother as long as he’s business registration documents and landed property documents please go ahead and apply for him they treat people of that caliber differently. And as long as such or similar balance is in his SOA throughout the six months period |

If you did your biometrics earlier than May 19 and you are yet to get any response, then congratulations because your VISA is approved. Otherwise you would have gotten a mail stating why your visa has been refused. HelenABUO: 1 Like |

Hello House, please I have a question. I have good travel history, I schooled in Asia and Europe and I've been to the UK twice before on a 6-month visa. The last time I visited the UK was in 2012 and I just reapplied for a UK visa from Nigeria because I now work and live here. However, I applied for a 6-month visa and I'm thinking if I should have just applied for a 2-year visa instead. Would this have reduced my chance of getting it again? Or should I just wait and visit the UK again that's if I get this 6 months visa and then reapply for a 2-year visa once it expires? |

I had a son who is British citizen for a British partner but the father is not responsible for him. He only got him a British passport. I left the uk when he was 6months back to Nigeria. I applied to go to uk a year after but was refused a uk visa on d ground that I did not pay NHS bill when I had my baby. I contacted NHS and they set up a payment plan for me and I have not defaulted in payment. I pay every month. I applied for a uk visa this year and was still refused and my son is 8 years he wishes to return back to uk. Does it mean that my chances of ever goin to d uk is over what can I do. I even got NHS to write me a letter to the embassy still they refused me . Am thinking of reapplying |

What type of visa did u apply for and are u planning to stay from then on to the Uk?..... there is more questions that need to be asked from you to get the full picture..... I was confused for minute. I suggest you go on another route that is surer since ur baby is a British citizen, she can travel with u without much ado. Hope the little man is OK as it’s been a long time since he left UK to face Naija conundrum. I want to believe you are doing well financially to take care of him Phummy2984: |

Good evening, house! @giselle & gurus please assist, I intend traveling next month with my daughter to UK but the BA & virgin flights aren’t friendly, intend getting either Airfrance/Lufthansa, I want to know if I would need a transit visa & secondly will there be any form of tests done before my trip note however that I’ve taken all my vaccines as in my dose is complete. Thanks in advance!! |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by giselle237: 8:25pm On Jul 07, 2022 |
Phummy2984:You are not clear . You wish to go back. Your son wishes to go back. They have no obligation to grant you a visa if they feel you are a potential overstayer. For your son, he is free to go to his country as he is a citizen. Anyday he turns up at the border he must enter. For now you can start by clearing your NHS debt in full and work on your ties to Nigeria to show you will come back. You are obviously applying on visitor visa and they know immediately they let u in, as long as u have no strong ties to Nigeria you will not return. You will hang onto your son’s citizenship rights and not return. It will help if you have a well paying job, finances, property, investments, assets, family and other things that would make sure you come back If you finally enter then explore the private life route https://www.gov.uk/uk-family-visa/parent If you want to apply from outside UK also possible. However speak well with a solicitor to explore your best options pls. I am not an immigration advisor Also you may want to start by contacting the Home Office and requesting a SAR, to see exactly what it says on your record. Once you have that you can decide what to do and find out who to contact about your debt. Also what was stated on your refusal? 2 Likes |

@giselle thanks for your message. I want to travel with my son to the uk as he has never been alone and I can’t allow him travel alone. I have strong ties to Nigeria I have 2 daughters aged 2 and 5 respectively and I have a spouse too. I also have a well paying job. M not travelling with my daughters and spouse . Am only travelling with my son as he has been on my neck. I intend coming back. |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by SamReinvented: 10:01pm On Jul 07, 2022 |
Phummy2984: You should look towards a different visa route. I believe you may be qualified for a type of settlement visa as the primary carer to a dependant citizen (since your child is still underage). Up to you to research on it from here on… 1 Like |

giselle237:Please, is there a way to it & if possible kindly give a hint, I mean for the transit visa. So, basically too, I don’t need any tests or medical verification before traveling?? Sorry for the too much questions |
