Please guys, am i supposed to fill two copies of consent forms to vfs for passport stamping? or just one consent form? Also, who has used any DHL around ikeja for passport submission, does it necessarily has to be isolo? |

Hello NL’s My colleague received a PFL (procedural fairness letter) today on the basis of fraudulent bank statement. Does this automatically mean 5 year’s ban? Or just a refusal ? Is there any way she can get out of this situation ?? |

You are actual right, I recall when my parents applied for visitor visa in Feb 2020, they didn't hear back from IRCC until Dec 31st, 2020. Meanwhile, the application had been refused since March, 2020. MJ1000: 1 Like |

miimssss: Damn, why did she submit a fraudulent bank statement? They check these things. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by hillary4003: 10:13pm On Jul 07, 2022 |
it's one of 2 things a. she didn't submit a fraudulent statement and gets in touch with her bank to prove it's genuine or b. it is not genuine or she does not respond she will be denied and banned. more likely b than a because ircc would have contacted your bank before sending that letter if it's genuine she needs to consult an immigration lawyer if she's really serious about canada it is a very serious offence. and it will surely reflect to other embassies in my opinion miimssss: 1 Like |

good evening I just got admission today and I want to organize my documents for application but I don't know where to start from. and my main concern now is that my friend is going to be my sponsor and I don't know how to relate him to my family plus I will be showing my bank statement of 7m including landed properties. I will appreciate a response on what to do |

Hi there, so sorry to hear about the refusal. Don't give up, many others have been given Visas on their 2nd application. I would like to ask, is it really important for your mum to apply with you at this time? If yes, you would need to show enough proof of funds in both your accounts to substantiate this. If she doesn't have to go with you immediately, you can apply for yours and after getting your Visa, she can apply for a visiting visa (which i think may be a better option) Fardowsa: |

https://www.nairaland.com/4773130/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/228#75475575-documents to submit https://www.nairaland.com/4773130/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/33#72169936 it is going to be very very difficult to convince the vo that your friend will sponsor you you will need to write a very convincing sop and letter of sponsorship as this is a 3rd party sponsor and not even a strong one at that because your friend has his own responsibilities too, some questions you will need to answer-why is your friend sponsoring you?, is he married?, any kids?, what is his source of income? any business/staff expenses?, does he have enough money to take care of you AND himself? why are your parents, siblings, family not sponsoring you? the 7m you have will help your case i think. does this friend have a history of helping you out financially? how long have you known each other? you will need to provide evidence that you've known yourselves a longggg time, of that benefit is this degree to him? the vo needs to see this degree as a reasonable expense. but my advice would be have your friend transfer some money to you and have it sit there for some time allocated to your tuition, also have him pay your deposit it's very important that HE does it not you since he's the main sponsor you have your work cut out for you goodluck Mercyolie: |
