betshopagent: Trust me, Ashleigh Plumptre plays central defence better than Onome Ebi and Osinachi Ohale. She's faster, reads and anticipates the game better and is defensively more solid than Ebi and Ohale. 5 Likes |

semid4lyfe:I disagree please. The only about Ebi is her age. She is easily put best defender. Until we see Ashleigh play a full match as a CB, she is not better than Ebi. |

[quote author=mostob post=114522395]I enjoyed the match abeg... And that ref needs to go back to school....just blowing nonsense... When it's time to take any setpiece, she would go to the box 18 and start 1 hour lecture. The ref took some gloss out of the game. Incessant stoppages and unnecessary time wasting from her. Any body contacts were adjudged fouls, making it look as if it is not Wafcon we are playing. As Africa teams, out physicality is what give us small edge against some European, asian and some American teams. 3 Likes |

I disagree, Ebi is our best defender in this tournament.Plumpter has not gotten to her level for now. She might probably replace her in the nearest future. semid4lyfe: |

Ucheibe is the missing link in the Midfield, Very Combative and Energetic… with her and Ayinde and either Okobi or Ajibade in Midfield things go flow well… Ucheibe covers a lot of Ground.. 3 Likes

Tony Payne is the team no.1 utility player, apart from GK and Center Back because of her small body frame, she can play anywhere in the Field. The Problem in the team is Selection… She has played as a Full back and Wing back for the Falcons on several occasions, I wonder why Randy chooses to move her upfront in the first game.. Play Ashleigh Plumptre in her CB and take the risk of benching btw Ohale and Ebi 4 Likes

Looking forward to quarter final already. We might play Cameroon and that should be easier. Meanwhile we might see a 6 goal or more pasting of Burundi. 3 Likes |

arsenal96: Ebi at 39yrs is still trying but right now Ashleigh Plumptre is Superfalcons modern day and Best Center Back.. She have nothing to prove… Osinachi Ohale is also a great defender but she looks like someone who isn’t in her top form… She played better during the qualifiers.. Again she’s 30yrs already age is certainly setting in too 3 Likes |

semid4lyfe: She was put in a normal CB situation against South Africa and she straight up failed. Do u think Onome let's that South African get back on her left? For me she should start from the bench. Toni Payne is better than her at left back and she is not on the level of Ebi and Ohale 2 Likes |

BascoVanVeli:Honestly bruh, It'll be helpful to yourself and others here if you learn how to keep quiet at times. I just read your previous comments where you heaped unnecessary blames on the coach after just a game. One game! For someone who beat two top rated African clubs to qualify for the competition. I remember when you said on the SE thread that we were wrong to criticize Equavoen after a game. I'm sure you kept quiet about Oshoala. Had it been Ify, we might see up to four videos telling us how poor she is. Now its Plumptre. I had time to watch her and what you stated is straight up BS. For someone who is both formidable at the back and moves the ball forward. You're already the most biased person on this thread by far. I'll start taking you less seriously. 5 Likes |

JohnBullMySon: Lol There's nothing wrong with having a bias for certain kind of players, but Basco for whatever reason consistently sides with players born and raised in Nigeria against those raised abroad, and it's beginning to leave a bad taste. While I understand his stance sometimes he at other times throws every shred of objectivity to the wind. Onome Ebi is a great player, one of the best defenders in my opinion, but she no longer had the pace needed to compete especially against fast players. The Botswana no 7 beat her at one point and took a shot and she just couldn't catch up. It only makes sense to pair her up with a Plumptre who is younger than with an Ohale. To claim Plumptre doesn't match up to any of them is just lacking in objectivity. I've actually decided to steer clear of his arguments especially when crux of the argument is about where the player was born and raised. 4 Likes |

JohnBullMySon: When have I ever made a video blaming a player u goofy. I can say anything I want if u don't like it skip past or keep complaining. Now explain how the south African got on the other side of Plumptre Mr I had time to watch.

lovewins: Bro that tactic doesn't work on me. I give props when it need to be given. Toni Payne will continue to be one of my favourite players. The fact is that u people are turning this into a popularity contest. The player u like must not always play. How do u justify dropping ur defenders after keeping a clean sheet in a match ur goalkeeper was on vacation. U say Onome couldn't catch up with that number 7 when she was literally by her side. 3 Likes |
