3rd, age factor not favor him

4th, his extreme gluttonous for public wealth to private pocket and extravagant life style, (shop make I shop government money)

5th, his party performed too poor to be given second chance

Too ambitious just to be president like Buhari with no single plan to deliver if elected, yet foolish Nigerians will still vote massively for a party that performed extremely poorly in government.

In the South, people are more enlightened. Many Christians may still look beyond religion and vote for Tinubu because of his perceived competence and tribe. Whereas in the North, most of the voters are probably not as enlightened. So, they will just call his team, group of infidels should he chose a Christian running mate. I believe Tinubu understood the above, hence his choice.

While he may have smartly done this, I only pray that his decision won't set the country on fire if he wants to win with force in 2023.

Finally, the Christian South also sold themselves for a morsel of bread long before now. Keeping quiet in the face of oppression is complacency; greed and covetousness evident in building of massive edifices as against building true Christ followers. The Christians in any part of Nigeria has no business being hungry, naked or homeless with the kind of prosperity God has given His church in these last days but we would rather build mega churches, buy jets and befriend the thiefing enemies of the gospel at the corridors of power. The above have created mistrust between some church leaders and their followers. So, followers may not necessarily act as directed in 2023.

There is a total disquiet in Yorubaland right now. The big pastors feel like a tsunami has hit them. How would Buhari a Muslim hand over to another Muslim president and a Muslim vice president? Haba Muslim. In a multi-religious nation like Nigeria, how can Tinubu afford to make about 100 million Christians just mere onlookers? What an insult to the diversity we say defines us? Why now, at the time religious crises are rising, American senators are threatening Nigeria for being intolerant and persecutive to Christians?
