Ketima: Hello everyone, Please advice: 1. Is it compulsory to do affidavit with certificate of investment, or only the Certificate of investment is enough? 2. My documents for POF are more than 4m even after compressing. Can I merge the following documents together: Acceptance letter Banks Statement Bank reference letter Tuition receipt....under Acceptance Letter section? @makano , @Ketima, @lekiboboe and every other experienced persons. Thanks |

Lezy: Hello, When you say to do affidavit with certificate of investment, you mean to swear an affidavit that you have such investment? What kind of investment is that? When is the maturity date? Will the fund be available for your studies. Most a time, is not a about showing money tied somewhere under the guise of investment of which most at times isn't ours but as a result of the lender not wanting money to be idle. IRCC alot prefers money that is easily accessible considering some financial bureaucratic bottle necks attached to all this investments. So you may need a well explanatory cove letter from the investment body to do justice to the availability and accessibility of such investment. For the bolded, don't merge them. Acceptance letter should be on it own for upload. Others are part of POF. If your POF is way much, why not go for MBS and free yourself of the hassle of trying to compress and end of getting blurred docs. 1 Like |

Please my school OnD cert I will not say its 100% legit, meaning it does not come from exams and records but I used it to do my HND. Now my question is, can I buy any school cert and transcript from available universities for Canadian student visa application? Please what are the odds? 1 Like |

Ketima: Ok. Thanks. But for the bolded, would it cause any issues if merged together eventually? |

kingscare1: Hi and good morning. Let me ask...if you were a visa officer and you see this sort of enquiry in a forum(of a particular country), what would be your perception when applications from that country fall on your desk? Would you honestly be unbiased as to the authenticity of documents presented to you? I am not asking those who want to apply "sharp guy" methods not to. The outcome is your cup of tea .However for the sake of other applicants who may potentially be hurt by such- when you come to a public forum, identify one or two persons you can privately contact to make such enquiry. The internet is open. We seem to forget that developed countries engage in purposeful research before making policies that affect every aspect of their economy. Immigration is core to them. Their decisions to add or reduce documentation or intensify scrutiny on our applications are supported by trends and research. It presupposes why "some" Visa officers are so biased that they "occasionally" do not go through our documents meticulously even when one has fulfilled all requirements. Until you now reapply and another person reviews. No matter how much they claim they are not biased....our reputation as a country gets dented left and right from stories that emanate from our country. Don't add to it by this sort of question, please. You might be surprised how popular this forum is even outside of this country. I beg you to please take down that question as you have been answered....Abeg....comot am... 26 Likes |

kingscare1: This is completely wrong here. If you don't have any reasonable certificate, you have WAEC or NECO if its not bought or fake. Apply for a BSC course for Christ sake. This is terrible. Stop painting our country bad. Stop it. 11 Likes |

Please my bosses. I'm about to pay my first semester tuition fee which is $9k but the problem I'm having right now is that the person that will pay it is not in Nigeria and I'm not using his statement of account as my POF whenever I will apply for my visa application. It's my other uncle that I want to use his statement of account and he's not in Nigeria too. Please, I want to ask if it's safe for me to go ahead, I mean won't the school receipt shows the name of the person that paid? Cos I don't want them to see that the person that paid for my first semester tuition fee is different from the sponsor I'm using for my visa application. Also I have 2M in my own personal account that I will add to the application. Won't there be any red flag in all of this? Thank you |

Akintosban:Okay Good. Request for MBS(mybankstatement) from her bank. Secondly, request for sole signatory letter from the bank. This is a letter confirming she's the owner of the account. Send both documents to IRCC. You should be fine. 1 Like |

Betterlife30:They're not concerned about who paid deposit. So far deposit was paid. All you need to attach is tuition deposit receipt from your school. The school receipt will not say so and so person paid. The only thing it will show is that so and so amount has been paid for so and so student. 2 Likes 1 Share |

@bullstriker thank you. For affordable flights, it depends on final destination, and what you tag as affordable because summer tickets are usually not as low as other periods and with the exchange rate I think its not below N1m depending on final destination. Whereas other periods that a high fare. bullstriker: |
