Election anywhere in the world cost a lot of money. Emmanuel Macron of France spent billions too. You need money to mobilize supporters to reach every nook and cranies of Nigeria. You need fund to transport and feed party agents. You need funds to mobilize people and carry awareness campaigns.


The only way to make political leaders to work for the people without staining their hands in stealing public funds to repay the debts they incurred during election campaigns is for their supporters to fund their campaign via crowdfunding which makes it less stressful on the politician and even on the supporters. Crowdfunding is what westerners use to fund different cause, including campaign funding like this so Aisha Yesufu is rightly on point.
