My rover 200 consumes about 5-5.5 liters of benzin/petrol for every 100km.

How do i even start to calculate the consumption. ok lets see....on a full tank, my montero takes me to benin and would have gone down to near half tank. You work that out yourself.

My huyndai takes me to owerri on full tank and then i refill. I hope this helps

^^ I can easily calculate that with the speedometer and the fueltank guage on the dashboard screem.

The topic isnt silly, but meant for people like you. You can easily do that whthout the help of a calculator,

My EOD - Honda Accord EX 2003/2004 Model, I4 Engine with a 2.4l Capacity usually consumes exactly half tank from Yenegoa to Benin. I usually fill the tank to the brim, that is fill up the tank till I see the fuel in the pipe and drive with AC all the way. It has always been half thank both ways.

As for my 2002 Acura 3.2TL Type S with a V6 Engine capacity of 3.2l, I drove from Yenagoa to Uyo with half tank and also made the return journey on the same amount of fuel.

I can't really say what both cars consume exactly and I have never taken the time to note their tank volumes so I can't come up with any figures. But, if you know both cars and their fuel tank volumes and the distances covered as in Benin and Uyo, I think you can help out here or what do ya think?

Its not about been a self made millionaire or not. You never can tell when this becomes helpful.

@post the last time I checked; my Benz 190 uses 20 liters for about 160+ km. That's approximately 8litres/km
The highest i ve achieved on my Avalon 09 is about 21miles/gallon which is a little above 10km/litre.
I didn't get to drive my Murano to know it's stats before it got stolen.

nice topic the result of this will let u know how to budget and use your fuel, it would also let you know the best gas station in your area as we know some of them dispense fuel dat burns faster. in my car theres a button to tap to make the kilometer reading turn to 0000 then it starts reading so when u get to a point when u think ur car need refill u now check how far it has gone. my would consume 1ltr per 10km now it consumes 1ltr in 7km which makes it certain that theres a fault. so knowing this makes u know a lot more. besides i use a honda concerto

Few ppl have been able to give a succinct answer (most are rather cracking jokes)

Mine consumes btw 12&13Km/l on the highway (that is when travelling) and bte 10&11 Km/l when within town.

Its a bit on the high side (online sources say a honda accord should average 19Km/l) but then I cant complain too much, its a nine yr old car after all
