I have a Toyota Camry 2008. Its extremely neat. The inside is like a tear rubber... No story. Used for a year, all papers in tact, even comprehensive Insurance.
Ac is harmattan. Cream colour

I also have 2009 Corolla, its as neat as tear rubber. Metalic color. Spare tyre has never been used. Ac is freezer.

if you are in lagos I can direct you to a car dealer I can vouch for, simply quote me so I can forward his number.. You can contact him.. He doesn't purchase a car with even minor problems so he can't sell you any with even a slight problem.. The car you are looking for is 3.3, last time I checked his online pages
drop is number thanks

Check my previous thread. Before I embarked on the journey I have contacted a dealer on this forum. His price and spec of car didn't match my budget.
I mentioned someone I met on jiji doesn't mean I visited only one person or car stand. I have gone around many car stands. Prices the same according to them they say the increment is due to the new custom duties.

And yes I only visited Ajah, Ikorodu and Apapa. Lagos is not like other places where you can move freely and easily. In Lagos to move from point a to point c may take you more than 3 hours.

I don't have all the time to stay in Lagos.
I have work to do in PH. I didn't even plan staying this long in Lagos.
I'm a car dealer based in Surulere, save my contact for clean affordable cars. That 2005 corolla LE is available for far lesser than what those criminals are calling for you at Apapa

I'm sorry to say, moving all the way from pH to Lagos without contacting car dealers on nairaland is not a wise decision. Who does that?
It's like going to the jungle as an amateur hunter in search of the forbidden egg which can only be gotten by fearless and experienced hunters (Nollywood scenario) shey you no know say you dey waste your own time ni?

I am told it takes less than 24hrs to register the car and get a plate number.
I intend driving it to ph without registering it
You'll settle customs and police on your way plus cost of petrol etc.
Hope you made your calculations well.

Also, in this internet age you could not look up the price of a Toyota Corolla in Lagos, that would have saved you time and money?
I checked. The price was low on the internet... I came to realized that internet price is not real price o. They use it to lure buyers

Good morning all. I believe you all are doing great.
I want to share my experience leaving Port Harcourt for Lagos to buy a Toyota Corolla.

I embarked on this journey on Sunday 10th July.
I came to Lagos to purchase the car because of these three conditions;
1. I thought it will cheaper in Lagos than Port Harcourt.
2. I believed in Lagos I will see much of it and would have a choice.
3. I believed in Lagos I will get the best with everything intact.

Before coming to Lagos I had my preferred model in mind. That's 2005 LE model.

First of all these things happen when you don't have plans before coming to lagos, there are tons of Toyota Corolla your preferred choice waiting for a buyer out here. You just did not use the right channel.

Expecting a feedback from you soon.
You are good to go. Check that the mileage (Odometer) corresponds or closely corresponds with info provided below. Check for oil leaks underneath the car. If "check engine" light is static (on), run a simple OBDII scan. If you get the message "Catalyst converter below threshold" either bank 1, bank 2 or 3, you have yourself a vehicle with removed catalist converter what the local mechanics call "indomie". Lastly verify that the first body and paint is still intact. If I'll buy a 2007 Corolla for over 3M, I'll pay attention to these details. Good luck.
