I was recently offered a scholarship in Italy that covers my tuition fees.

I've been asked to obtain Dichiarazione di Valore (Declaration of Value; DoV) from the Italian Consulate in Lagos.

My problem is, due to ASUU/NASU stike, I'm yet to collect my Original Degree Certificate. I only have my Academic Transcript and Statement of Result.

I know the Consulate only accept Degree Certificate and Transcript to issue DoV?

Please guys what do you suggest I do?

So from what you've said, I should authenticate my transcript and statement of result, traslate them and proceed to the Italian Consulate in Lagos for Legalization and my DoV will be issued ?

Yes. Authenticate not only your transcript and statement of result oo… all your academic credentials. Including your Waec. Translate them(we can do that for you) and proceed

I believe your friends birth certificate has her dad's name wether same surname or not so she doesn't need to prove anything. Her birth certificate is enough proof.
