Not exactly, its actually a Serbian M72 Zastava copy clone but its based on Soviet RPK.


Scope does not mean a firearm is a marksman sniper gun.

Friend, I troway my doubts, I will say its LMG not DMR.

My Immigration gun is not Heckler & Koch G3, rather its Heckler & Koch HK416.

So be asking, what variant of HK416 is it? USMC type HK416 has Squad LMG variant called M27 and also Sniper DMR variant called M38.


I will say its Squad Automatic Weapon SAW variant. SAW is also called Light Machine Gun LMG.

So my NIS Immigration photo is Squad LMG variant HK416 rifle.

I told you smaller shorter scope is squad optic, not marksman sniper optic. Look at my next photos, notice the two scope sizes differ.

I was certain the photo wasn't very recent the way your post sounded as though it's due to the rising spate of insecurity in the country NIS became assigned the gun.

I recall in the year 2000, the United States wanted to ditch their Minimi LMG for a lighter rifle with a box magazine to handle the LMG role but with more precise firing. Truthfully, when you said it, I thought you were exaggerating as you were wont to. And now... i don't even know what is happening, but I do know that the situation is very bad. Like if these guys want to get Buhari, I don't really see why they can't succeed. How the military authorities seem so unconcerned is something I cannot explain.

Kuje prison had just been attacked. And they were told the Law school might be next. And they carried Hilux to there when they could have used something more substantial. That I no understand at all o.

Like if you are going out and hear thunder and lightning, you dash back inside and pick up an umbrella. You don't go out as you were, trusting in the almighty to keep you safe and dry and delay the rain till you reach your destination.

Similarly, if you were told that a rabid dog was around, you suit up and prepare yourself. You don't shrug your shoulders and do as you have always done.

Why would the presidential guard of all people go out in Hilux like common soldiers or police on bullion van escort duty and fall into an ambush like common soldiers? They underestimated the enemy and showed lack of initiative and flexibility. That's shameful.

It is not about militarizing the town. It is about responding to the situation the right way. Common US police use APCs and IFVs if I remember correctly.

If the presidential guards fear setting off a panic, they could have used armored trucks or sedans that are indistinguishable from ordinary cars. Firms like Inkas makes these vehicles and they can be armored up to B7 level.

This is the presidential guard we are talking about here, not a village police outpost. There is absolutely no reason they should be riding in Hiluxes. None!
