Can someone help me out with this question?

I am planning to attend a seminar in US, end of the year or early next year.

But due to the scarcity of interview date, am kind of afraid to pay for the seminar and start the process.

If I pay for the seminar and visa fee and fill my DS-160 form to summit in other to get interview date, in event the interview date happened to be after the seminar, which is the problem and I am able to sure another new date for seminar schedule ahead of the interview date.

The question is,

Will it be possible for me to edit the already summited DS-160 form to include my new seminar date, new flight itinerary new hotel reservation.

If not possible, what is the best way as the seminar date and calender is done yearly, and base on what am hearing, it seem that the interview date are almost fully booked for almost one year from now.

You can edit or fill a new DS-160 form if there is a change in your travel plan. I would suggest to pay and book a date fast as possible, as likely available date is now in 2024 for visit visa.

If not for a specific reason, I would have changed my seminar destination to another country, which kind thing is this.

I have to be honest with you, they won't issue you visa, why not get quality travel history, start with Dubai, Turkey, UK, EU... apart from that you need strong ''ties'' like marriage, kid(s), very good job and online presence.... good luck

Exactly, you can't be bashing Nigeria, talking about how you can't wait to leave and Nigeria and expect U.S Embassy to issue you visa. There's repercussion for our footprints online.

Am not the one organizing the seminar, the seminar is in the form of training, so I can always go for that same training in the UK, Europe or any other place apart from US.

It is just for one particular reason, to use the opportunity to visit an uncle over there.

If not, I will change direction, I don't like all this wahala with their visa interview date stuff.

I am a nurse but I have not been working officially because of health reasons. Do I have to submit my statement of account. Or can I submit my mom's.
What should I do now that I am not working, can it affect the interview?
Finally, what questions and preparations do I need for the interview?
My interview date is September.

You can do all these. As long as you submit your DS160 form at least a week to your interview.

If you can access your old DS 160 form, then you can update it with your new travel information. If the period for access has expire. Then fill a new DS—60 and update your profile with new number. Sure you can also update your passport number by send them a feedback within the appointment system.

Hello house. Following the approval of ones visa, at the stage of collecting ones passport, it is stated that individual must present valid photo Id. Assuming that the already submitted Travel passport is the only valid ID i have, please what can i use? Is NIN slip recognized as a valid ID?

Hello everyone, please I need some advise on what to do.

Am planning to visit to the US through b1/b2 visa route. I have two options to choose from. Option one will not cost me extra cost aside flight, accommodation and chopping, while option two will cost extra 1m to 1.2m, I will explain. But I fill option two has most likelihood of securing visa than option one, I might be wrong - reason while seeking advise here.

OPTION ONE:
Am planning on going on vacation (tourist) visit and spend like one or two weeks and then return back to naija.
But am looking at it that the rejection rate for this category is very high.

OPTION TWO:
Am planning on going on one week training and return back or possibly stay back for one more extra week for vacation if allow.
I feel this option has more prospect of getting visa than option 1. But the extra cost of 1m to 1.2m that would be use for paying for the training can be of very good help if option one might not be a problem.

MY HOME TIE:
I am married with three kids ( wife and kids are here in naija).
I have a house here in naija.
I have a job that is paying me 500k plus per month and currently working there.
I have pension contribution of over 18m plus in it - not sure it is necessary.

TRAVEL HISTORY:

Travel to UK for one week training in 2012
Travel to France for one week training in 2019


NOTE:
I am not planning on japa, but just want to visit US so I can connect with one or to friends and have fun.

Now my question is which of the option would you advise me to choose, do you think I stand a good chance with any of the option. I dont want to go the and come back without my visa being approve.

The training is from a certain certify national body and they only do in person training only in their head office in the US.

Although other individual organisation can also do that kind of training, but that national board in the US is very valid and has good prestige.
