TOO QUALIFIED!!!!!!!

I'm sorry we cannot hire you was what ame out of the HR as he handed over her CV to her. Shocked by the news she asked, but WHY? know I'm qualified she said.

I have the needed years of experience, a master's degree and an outstanding CV.

Yes, I know, but I'm sorry we just can't hire you replied the HR Manager

Sad and dumbfounded she rose, picked up her CV and as she was about heading to the door, an employee walked right in, seeing the countenance on her face the employee greeted and walked by.

She left the office, closed the door and she stood there for some seconds thinking about what next to do, she heard HR telling the employee that the lady is too qualified if I should employ her and the CEO get to know she's more qualified than I am. He'll either demote me or sack me and put her in my position.

Years later the same lady that wasn't employed by the HR manager becomes a CEO and the same HR manager went to her company seeking a vacant position.

Employ him. Remind him of his previous act. He might likely resign himself, but if you don't like drama like me,just let him go..

Why not!?
Emply him, previous disappointment actually led to a higher goal for you.
Moreso, what that former HR did was understandable, as Nigerians, we all fight to keep our positions either clean or dirty.
You can't blame anyone here, it's all part of hustle to keep your daily bread steady

No, I'm sure he must have learnt his lessons.
If really he's qualified for the job you're offering, give it to him, with that, he'll certainly be forever grateful and be a loyal person to you in that company.
Sometimes, former enemies become best allies

I beg to disagree. Assuming that that was ur company & because of dat stupid reason he keeps rejecting d best brains to ur company dat would have added more value 2 it. How will u feel?
Dat man is too wicked & egocentric. D company growth is not his aim but rather personal aim. So i wont hire him. He wont attract valuable people 2me, only mediocres like himself.

You're certainly right on this, and I totally agree with you, but I still can't want to give up the chance of giving him a second chance to do what is right.
You simply won't put him in that same position to influence the company again, whatever position you can give just as a help.
