PDP is very strong in Osun and they have structures in every remote hamlet. Oyinlola was 2 time governor, Omisore was in PDP till recently plus the Adeleke have deep roots in every street in Osun. Late Isiaka Adeleke was governor in 1991. The family is also very rich and can match APC dollar for dollar

From feelers on ground from a friend I spoke to (though he is a PDP politician) this election is advantage PDP. He is deeply PDP he was even at the presidential primary ground and was giving me first hand info on the dollar exchange between Atiku and Wike

That's true sha, PDP na strong party for Osun no be lie, but I was thinking the people will be voting based on each party's plan for them. I've actually not heard Oyetola people complaining about Oyetola's first term, so I'm assuming he's doing fairly well.

Voting Oyetola and voting in Adeleke may not really augur well for the people of the state, but what do I know? I guess those living there will be in the best position to say if Oyetola is doing well or not

I will pay salary, give good roads, free education, bring investment etc.
The electorate will vote for who they like and who their political leader is supporting
Oyetola does not have to do badly for people to reject him and Demola can dance from now till next year people will vote him regardless even if a goat is the candidate most peoples minds are already made up and everything else is just posturing

APC is having more votes in Ede than it did in 2018. Also doing well in Ijesha Towns than in 2018.

Ife is on lockdown for APC. Osogbo LG is on lockdown while it's gonna be close contest in Olohunda LG (Osogba as well).

Osun Central will definitely go to APC while PDP will likely win Osun West. Osun East will decide the Winner and Omisore is on ground to get the job done as well as TOP of Aregbesola.

He left Senate like 2018 to contest the last Governorship election, after losing he came to America and only returned around October last year

People overrate all these performance and manifesto. People will vote who they like. Some states e.g Enugu Rivers Delta Cross river, akwa Ebonyi have voted PDP governors, Senator and HoR for the past 22yrs were they all performing?

I'm trying to put myself in an osun person's shoe right now reading these comments and realizing that either way, he's fucked_, for at least 4 more years. More purposeless leadership, more corrupt plutocratic leadership. More greedy leaders who will still end up trying to recoup all the billions of naira used this campaign season, trying to settle the political mafia in the state.

On second thought, I think the only good thing that can come out of Adeleke's governorship in Osun State is the fact that maybe whatever Oyetola has been passing on to his Godfather in the APC as tribute will stay in the state coffers. Aside that I no see any good governance the Adeleke will bring tí the state.

Aregbesola and his TOP ground has sold this one. APC losing in Osogbo is unbelievable.

PDP chances to take this is almost 85% except some miracle happens in Ife and Iwo. Ede North results is cancelling the margins of the other LG and Ede South result is still there.
