This is a thread by Jarus corroborating what Popizaino said regarding 2023 presidential election.

https://mobile.twitter.com/SirJarus/status/1548585516362305544

Jarus is sampling the opinion of a handful of residents in 1 out of the 30 LGA's in the state..... There's no way that represents the opinion of the whole people in the state. Jarus is a man of numbers, I'm sure he's not taking the opinion of those handful of residents as the voice of the people.

Not at all.

If you wanna invest in catfish farming, try Iwo Town, coz you can easily get earthen ponds there.

Whether it's 60% or even 90%, it doesn't matter. The way South Westerners take religion is not the same way the whole of Nigeria takes religion. South Westerners don't kill themselves over Muslim-Christian fights. They have built a level of understanding that puts the sanctity of life over religious alligance.

More than even 55% are Muslim. More like 60-40 if not more than that.

You guys have brought your rubbish football logic here...Why can't you guys be objective for once when analyzing things?

Aregbe messed up Osun so much so that it was always going to be difficult for his successor. The people were fed up and rightfully opted for a change...In 2012/2013 I was a youth corper in Osun and I saw first hand how clueless Aregbe is especially his education policies...I don't even want to talk about how he plunged the state into depts whilst not paying salaries or pension and when he pays, he pays 40% or thereabout...

Come the general elections, they'll queue up behind their own just the same way the East wil queue behind Obi...2023 is going to see each ethnic group queue behind their own...

When the campaigns starts, it will get worse and sadly so...

The same way SE will deliver bloc votes for Obi even in states with APC PDP or APGA governors

That is the same way SW will deliver bloc votes for Tinubu in 2023

The only time the whole SW was under one party since 2003 was between 2018 and 2019

I think u are getting these things wrong. We all are happy for the fact that the people can decide and their voice can be heard through INEC doing the right thing and announcing the winner.

But then I think we should be talking about our political parties bringing their best men forward if they mean well for the state and not some clown who can't even articulate what he will do and how we will do it when he gets there.

In all honesty Adeleke does not deserve to rule any state at all, nigga's got nothing going for him other than coming from a rich home. A man who is not serious enough to have the minimum SSCE requirements until it became an issue for him. For example PDP would've queued behind Somone like Akin Ogunbiyi, the man has companies he runs mutual benefits microfinance bank, mutual benefits assurance, and other companies in his group that employed as much as 5,000 staff and doing well in the business world. But no! They will rather Adeleke who would pack as many sycophants into his cabinet and they will just run the state anyhow they can till next election angry

Maybe we should be focusing on party primaries bringing forth credible candidates going forward. Just my thought
Yet, someone campaign strategy is to feed d youth with agbado and d young ones with eggs.

People see no wrong in that nao.

Bode George, Seyi Makinde, Adeleke... I'm just mentioning a few anti-Tinubu power houses (I expect a whataboutism comment about who is who instead facing the presented facts) who were initially tilting for Osinbajo but are now put off by Tinubu's greed.
The high population of bonus pith westerners swing votes too.

Even in 2011 when Tinubu fielded Ribadu on his ACN platform, he LOST woefully all but Osun State; and the losing margin was very wide https://www.electoralgeography.com/new/en/countries/n/nigeria/nigeria-presidential-election-2011.html

Tinubu has never controlled the presidential election outcomes of the South West, unlike Buhari who has his territory on lock even during the Obasanjo era.

But political neophytes who can beat their chest to state specifically what roles they played in any such elections are on Nairaland masturbating about how Tinubu would win when he can't outrightly win the South West which is the only place he has any influence to begin with.

Facts and evidence prove Ondo, Lagos and Ekiti are swing states that could go anyway. And now Osun under the Adeleke influence.

Facts don't lie. Facts don't respect emotions. Statistics trump sentiments always.

DissTroy:

With Peter Obi on the ballot in 2019, PDP won Oyo and Ondo States, and lost:

Osun: only 17,000 votes;
Ekiti: 75,000 votes;
Ogun: 87,000 votes;
Lagos: 131,000 votes.
https://www.vanguardngr.com/2019/02/presidential-poll-state-by-state/

APC won South-West with only 310,000 votes at the height even with the power of incumbency. The 2015 election was simlar. Less than the total votes cast in Bayelsa, the least populated state in Nigeria.

But go ahead - keep projecting and speculating based on your illusions while facts like the ones I present hit you in the face. smiley

Like I stated less than 2 weeks ago, facts don't lie. There are always voting patterns, and Tinubu has never ever successfully won the Southwest directly or through his cronies.

You argue emotions, I base mine on antecedence. I also did tell you we'd see the results. And that APC candidates are sacred of promoting Tinubu in the South East and South South because they know they'd stoke the ire of the electorates. I've been with these people. I've seen them up close. I know many who are quietly pushing for Obi and why you can't find a Tinubu billiboard in these areas. But you want arguments based on emotions.

2023 beckons. smiley
