larride: LOL You don't even know me. I don't have enough energy to hate anybody. If I hate Tinubu of what value will the hate be to me? I'm not a card carrying member of any political party, so what will the value of Tinubu hate be to me? |

izzou: Me and u no dey their inner caucus meeting, even the party people here on nairaland are not privy to some of these guy's meetings where concessions are made and critical party decisions are made. Aregbe has not scattered the party, he has only frustrated the ambition of the candidate he does not prefer. APC is still a very strong party in Osun State, Aregbe will definitely have his game plan. Let's wait and see. 1 Like |

BlueRayDick: I didn't mean scattering the party. The relationship between his structure and the rest has been burnt. This can either make him, or mar him (likely the latter) |
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 7:55pm On Jul 17, 2022 |
larride: Did I ever say I don't know these things? The discussion was very clear, Aregbe wants a semblance of the pier Tinubu enjoys in Lagos and he took the gamble which could've ended badly for him. I'm sure if Oyetola had won re-election u are one of those that would've mocked Aregbe here |

Oasis007: This has been my position (reconciliation) since yesterday, irrespective of how difficult it seems. Politics is all about interests. If this is being sold as a Yoruba cause in the SW then, Tinubu himself, who is renowned as a good strategist has to fix some of these things because ultimately it is his ambition. I have seen him meet privately with Osibanjo and publicly celebrate Dolapo his wife, despite how heated things got between both, post primaries. This things have to be mended, else, you people are taking a huge risk, that would end in disgrace. There are just too many cracks within the SW that needs to be mended. Remember, PDP are a highly experienced bunch and they have the resources. They are not newcomers and they command loyalty across the nation. LP will take some numbers in the SW but it would be diabolical to allow PDP win 2-3 states in the SW because of frictions because the North will most likely protect their own. |
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 7:56pm On Jul 17, 2022 |
izzou: Well, the latter is what pained APC faithfuls hope, but let's wait and see what the future will bring towards Aregbe's way |

BlueRayDick: Why you dey defend Aregbe like this? I have this feeling you are part of his structure, or someone you know is a beneficiary |

Olusola Saraki was a Senator, a Godfather in Kwara for many years. Gbemi Saraki was a federal Honorable, a Senator and now a Minister. Bukola Saraki was a Governor, a Senate President and a Godfather in Kwara PDP at the moment. Oooops..... Seyi Tinubu owns Digital Board at Lekki Tollgate. 7 Likes |

Segedinho: The Agbado is a simple logic. We are underpoliced. The youths that are interested in military should be recruited enmasse to increase security. And what they will eat? Cassava and Agbado. 2 of the most staple food that grows all over Nigeria. This will reduce unemployment and reduce crime 4 Likes |

Oasis007: First of all, why do you ALWAYS post a smiling emoji before every single post of yours. It's almost creepy. Secondly, what do you mean by being "realistic"? I've never made a concise election permutation. I always point out to people that voting apathy has always been very high and all labor party needed to do was bring in millions of fresh untapped new voters which they've been doing very healthily. Osun and ekiti elections have absolutely no bearing on labor's 2023 elections. People are looking at candidates now, not party. Peter Obi has fully emeshed himself in the national conversation. You can't say that the man won't get at the very least, 6 million votes if the elections held today. And finally you need to know that Peter Obi supporters are working twice as hard as any other support group. They know the monumental challenge ahead and they are going all out in their little little ways to magnify his presence around the country. The other parties keep relying on their old machineries and looted state funds to run their campaigns as usual. The air is saturated with Obi supporters unless you are in a social media echo chamber. 2 Likes |
