I am feeling the visa application. I made a mistake by putting RFQ4 instead of 7 for the main applicant for the part that has to do with qualification at the end of the course. Ihs and visa has been paid. Do you think this will affect the chances of visa

NOTE:
I made a mistake in my POF calculation.POF was held in account only 9 days when we submitted the application and paid. I never knew the money has to stay full 28 days before submitting the online application. My POF matured on the date of my biometrics. I calculated from the date I deposited my POF to the date of the biometrics.
We have to eschew unnecessary fears cos must of the things that make people cancel their application doesn’t really matter to the UKVI.

To all of you still waiting for their decisions, it shall end in praise.

Currently the UK runs a point based system for the issuance student visa. They consider your POF, your CAS and your English language and assign the appropriate points to them. Once you hit 70 points your visa is sure. The areas where you should be worried if you made a mistake on them are : your CAS number, your POF calculation (funds below the required amount) and your proof of English (IELTS or WAE)

If you are covered in this area, any other minor mistakes you make while filling the application form can be overlooked by them. However to put your mind at rest, you can write a correction letter to them and correct the error you made and scan and upload it along with your other documents when you are uploading your documents.

UKVI cannot deny your visa because you mis-spelt your name or your put a wrong house address or all these other reasons you guys cancel your applications for.

They know you can request for AR once they deny you on any reason that is not one of the PBS parameters and it will be overturned.

Personally my POF was only held in my accout for 19 days before I submitted and paid for visa and IHS before I realised that the funds has to be there for the full 28 days before online application submission, but I did not cancel my application. I waited for them to send NSF for proof of funds so I can print and resend to them but it didn’t come and my visa was approved.

1. What should be included in my proof of fund where my dependants will join me later?
2. Do I still need to show proof of fund amount that covers for just myself or must I still providee the amount that will cover for my dependants inclusive even when they'll be joining me 3 to 4 months later for a student visa Tier 4?

Congratulations and good that the ECO didn't pick on your errors.It doesn't mean that you should also encourage at the bolded.

There are times we have advised that there are no concerns and times when we advise that the applicant cancels his/her application

Case in point when the refusals are purposely not declared.

I believe what an easy ECO will see and ignore a more thorough one will pick on. As long as everyone knows what the rules are and do due diligence on their application they will be fine

I thought I'd comment on this cuz you seem to be on and on about this since you just got your visa

Like i stated, my POF was a mistake, if I had known i wouldn’t deliberately do it. Secondly, I don’t and wouldn’t encourage anyone to do it because.

The point I am trying to stress, however, is people should’t cancel their applications due to errors even they themselves know are negligible.

Cross check your answers well. Go through it with a fine tooth comb before you hit the SUBMIT button.

I am working in my brothers company but the situation is that there is nothing like employment letter or formal salary payslip to show for it.

What do I have to to if additional information request like payslip or bank statement or employment letter is requested from UKVI?

Please, I need response ASAP.

When you are recommended to be confirmed it will be forwarded to the adb_supervisor_review then to adb_disbursment_review then to the final supervisor before you talk about telex. It takes weeks to be completed. Some banks might take months

People on this same thread were denied because of this.. there is a reason why the same document the ECOs use for adjudication clearly states held funds for minimum 28 days. Dnt go and set people up for refusal with your statements. If one is denied for holding funds for less than 28 days, no Jupiter of an AR will change the decision.. they will need to start afresh having already lost visa fees like the ones who were caught on this thread. You should stop this(if you can). The trauma alone from a visa refusal is not kind.
