Investors are withdrawing their cars daily, those that are still in the business will package lemon car for hp and give it to desperate driver still collect downpayment from him.
After running katakiti for few weeks with the car,2days on the road 3days at mechanic workshops he will be unable to meet up with the signed agreement, they will collect the car back give it out to another desperate driver with downpayment and the circle continue.

If you see the kind 3m Camry 05 someone wants to give me on hp, with 300k downpayment, I just told him not to bother again.
Maybe last last na korope I go settle for.

I have said it before now, vehicles will end up being recycled on bolt because no one is going to buy a tokunbo and put on bolt. Someone said he came to lagos to buy a corolla and the average cost was between 3.5-3.8m. Who will put that on bolt?

The bright side is that it will eventually translate into more earnings for drivers.

Were it not for indriver taking some share of the market, I believe drivers would have been seeing significant difference in earnings....or maybe they are already. Drivers here no dey ever gree say dem make money cheesy

By the way, it has been long I've seen anyone complain about a dull day here. I remember how people used to return home out of frustration. Looks like that is now a thing of the past.

On the 3rd of July, I had an accident in adelabu, I drive a Toyota corolla, why the person that hit me was driving a camry, I will post pictures below this comment. Now the camry was at fault and he acknowledged this by saying he will fix my damaged vehicle regardless of his own car that was almost a write off. Now the damages in my car was the bumper , grill and the handle of the headlamp got broken , and was practically fixable . Now I called the owner of my car, informing him about the accident and he insisted on seeing the vehicle

After seeing the vehicle, he asked the guy to buy a new headlamp, mind u the headlamp didn't break , just the handle, even after seeing the state of the other guys vehicle. The guy told him he can't buy new one when this one's can be fixed! Later on the owner told him to do what he can do ....

Now he fixed this car , to the extent u won't know the car had an accident, and I took this car to the owner only for him to collect the car from me that I let him do whatever he wants that he wants a new headlamp and grill and bumper .

Now I'm out of Job because I had a human sympathy

You will not die or become nuisance In Jesus name. Partner collecting his car is not the end of the world. All things works for good to them that serve God. U still have life, your world is in front of u and u will work into better things.
There is no challenge that u r facing that is new to man, however time decimates all challenges. Worry less, with time this also will pass and u will smile when u look back and think about it. Man up

@LIX.
I hope you have been punctual with weekly remittance.
Look at the bright side, at least the accident didn't keep you incapacitated.

Maybe your principal has been planning to
collect the car before the incident... Because, I can't see any defects in the grill, headlamp and the bumper after the repair, it's all looking good.
(Don't blame yourself, even if your principal took the case to the Police, there's no way the defendant will be made to buy a new grill, headlamp n bumper, because they were not broken).

If I told you, a bigger door has opened for you nko? it's hard to believe, but that's the truth.

Cars for rental/hp are becoming increasingly difficult to see. Na why most drivers now dey do normal because if the partner collects the car, getting another is very difficult.

All the same, you can still see if you go to the right places. Someone here suggested inspection grounds.

If you also have alternative means, by all means give it a trial.

This looks like a permanent block. If you had asked questions when you kept getting warnings maybe someone would have told you what to do.

The only way you can get your account unblocked is by consistently sending them mails everyday. They have about 4 different emails. You need to start spamming them daily with how you’re very sorry for rejecting trips, that you’re new blah blah. If you scope them very well. Your account might get unblocked under 2 months… otherwise see you in 2038.

Hello Guys.
I am wondering if I can get help how to go about this issue below.

I took uber from Somolu to my house and the cost was N6,700 and I transferred N67,000 mistenkenly to the driver's Fidelity bank account.
I latter called the Uber driver that same day to inform him about it and he checked his account and confirmed that he recieved the money but that it has not reflected in his balance.

He latter told me that he called his bank customer support and they said that that account was opened online and cannot recieved more than N50,000 inflow and because I sent N67,000 it will be pending until he goes to the bank and provide his ID card and other informtion before he can have access to the money.

He sent me a screenshot to prove that and said that he will go to his bank tomorrow if it did not reflect in his balance.

Tomorrow being Friday, he went to his banks and after I have calling him severally, he told me that the bank said that one of the name in his Drivers license does not match the name on the account and that he has to brid ID card that matches the name.

He said the he will go and do NIN and take back to the back.
I kept calling his to find out if he has done that but he couldn't pick.
Then on Saturday, I called him, he latter answered and said that he was not able to do the NIN because people are so much there in Ketu and that he will do the NIN and get to the bank and then send me back my money.

Going to 2 weeks now, he is not picking my call.
Tried to use Uber App support and Uber said they can only support on their in-app payment.

Anybody have an idea of a way I can reach Uber customer support on phone or another way I can get back my money from this guy.

Thanks

But the koko be say, you will surely get trips quicker and it will always be on high price x1.6/x1.8/x1.9.

That is the famous Alpha Beach road. The one before it is called Baale street, that's Igbo Efon.

Orchid road is now good to go, at least for now. The road is under reconstruction (from paving stone to bitumen)
