Bobomaigida:
Thank you
Hi MotolaniB, you need to sort out the POF issue first before securing admission, admission can easily be gotten, so you have to either find a close relative who has the funds that can sponsor you or you sponsor yourself, IRCC allows loans to be taken for POF but you have to show documentation of the loan and how you intend to repay the loan, using POF agents is left to you but you have to consider their interest rates and your capacity to pay. I do not know your profile, I would have advised that you look for schools where you can apply to foreign orgs that offer educational loans for such schools. So slow down on the admission and start working on fixing the POF once you are certain that POF is sorted then you can apply to schools so you can meet tuition fees payment deadlines.
All the best. |

Thank you so much for your reply, I celebrate with you on your PPR. Let me go ahead and pray mine ends in praise too. trustingGod:
Like you I was sceptical but declared my MBA in both my school application and visa application since I had included both my MBA and B.SC in my WES evaluation so decided to own my truth.
I applied for another Masters Degree and justified this decision in my SOP both to the school and IRCC linking it to my career growth.
Applied for my visa application on April 19th, PPR, June 9th.
There is no 'cast in stone' rules and regulations for this journey just God's grace. |

[Thank you very much. I’ve booked for my medicals and the next available date is 25th July.]
I can understand your anxiety, everyone is including me and it's not your fault.
Firstly I would advise you go for your upfront medicals if you're yet to because for a permit longer than 6 months you will need it. Waiting to get the request before you go for the test and then waiting for it to be updated on your application is another time wasting away which you can save.
Don't be hard on your self and be positive.
It will end in praises for everyone of us.
Good luck.[/quote] 1 Like |

Application submitted: Feb 12
Medical Request:June 14th Medicals done: June 16th Medicals updated:June 17th and 24th (child and mother)
Bvl/passprt request : July 18th
GOD Almighty showed me mercy,he alone deserves all the Glory..
Got admission In Feb 2021..I deferred for personal and General reasons..
Knowing my profile..i knew I needed a magic touch..been reading the thread for years until I decided to kick-start this journey..
I am full time home maker, never worked and I have a long study gap, I knew I had work to do.. The reason some agents I met said it wasn't possible..
I was gonna opt for Journalism cos I majored in Arts/Humanities With the advice of Justmellow and Frank I settled for a business program since we had documents to prove that...
I made my secret findings about Frank ,everyone poured accolades and talked about his expertise..
I concluded I was gonna use him..
He did magic to my application.. he told me I had nothing to worry about..my husbands profile is more than enough to get me Visa..
I didn't even submit my personal statement of account..what the VO will see is just husband ,dad and siblings sending me money..last born palaver lol...

They will transmit it to IRCC within 5 - 10 business days thats within a week or two, however, you can still forward the medical e-information sheet/receipt you were given after your tests as a proof to them via mail or webform.
You can mail QLife to request for your results, you don't necessarily need to go physically. IOM sent mine to me via mail.
Good luck Thanks alot 1 Like |

Sorry for the late reply. I've received a couple of interests in the room of late, so sorting through them. The room(one of a 2 bed) is $900 per month, fully furnished and with utilities. The move in date is September 1. And a male is preferred. Thank you for your response... I'm a male and Sept 1st is actually what I'm looking for, so I'm really good with it. I've actually booked an airbnb for Aug 18th - 31st, so the timing is perfect for me. Can you respond to my mail so that we can conclude there, or send me your contact to finalize this? Good Morning, An upfront medical is same as the regular medical the only difference is that you are doing it before been asked to do so by IRCC. This is important because the available dates can be far away so you beat time. Depending on your location, you can apply online, send an email to book or visit the facility to book. IOM (Lagos & Abuja) - https://mymedical.iom.int/apps/omas/ email is iomabujamedicalbooking@iom.int or iomlagosmedicalbooking@iom.int Qlife (Lagos) - https://www.qlifefamilyclinic.com/cim-terms-and-conditions I don't have their email Ladielarrie1: Please how can register for upfront medical.

Did you attach the e-medical form to your emails? If yes, you can send reminders every other day till its updated. However, all may be updated same day including PPR oo.. Blakmandk: We submitted on the same date. My upfront Medicals was on June 28th but it’s still yet to be updated to pass. And my eligibility review has started. Though I sent series of mails for the past 2weeks which I think is the catalyst to my eligibility review. Do you think I should send another mail so my Medicals can be updated or do I just wait for IRCC to update it since eligibility has commenced?

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Abi2022: 12:23pm On Jul 19, 2022 |
I suggest you scan all the admission letters in one file (both new and old) so that the officers reviewing can see both at the same time. As per the other question, I will leave to the Guru's to advice FDTRips: Good morning Gurus in the house, Please I need clarification on an issue. I got a request mail on my application from ircc, screenshot attached. > CAQ: Certificat d’acceptation du Québec from the Ministère de l’Immigration, de la Diversité et de l’Inclusion This must be received at this office by: 2022/08/18 > Late Letter of Acceptance: An original letter of late acceptance from the intended educational institution This must be received at this office by: 2022/08/18
The clarifications I need 1) I have only the CAQ confirmation email which states that I can process my study permit without needing the original, I have called Ministère de l'Immigration in Quebec and was told the original can only be sent by post and would take about 4weeks to get to Nigeria. I was reassured again that the confirmation sent via email will suffice for my application. Please can I resend the CAQ confirmation sent via email back to IRCC with this explanation. 2) My school sent my admission letter for jan22 resumption on the 30th nov21, I deferred the admission to sep22 and was issued a new admission letter which was used in applying. Can someone please clarify the meaning of “original letter of late acceptance” ircc is requesting for. I plan sending the old and new admission letters but need the gurus in the house to please advise me accordingly.
When I applied for my study permit I included the caq certificate I received via mail and the new admission letter for sep22.
Please advise. 1 Like |
