derecho: Aregbesola was one of the best Governors in Nigeria until he derailed. By the way, let me educate you: despite derailing and missing the mark, he was miles and miles an upgrade over his PDP predecessor in office. When you say 2023 will surprise me? I’m keen to know what you’re talking about! Are you suggesting because PDP won Osun (with a margin of 40,000), just a month after it came a distant 3rd in Ekiti, means surprise in 2023? My friend, I’m not a baby political analyst. Also, I don’t get carried away with all these social media babyish excitements that bear no relevance on the streets. Even before the Osun election, I correctly predicted it’d be tough for the incumbent because the Adeleke family are very much loved in Osun. In addition, the Governor has been very prudent, refusing to share Osun money around. People seemed not to like that and prefer the free-giving Adeleke, believing there’ll be stomach infrastructure to go round when he gets to office. I’m compiling a list of all those postulating about a certain shock in 2023. Write it down, there’ll be no shock. The only shock will be social media champions will start crying rigging when they realise the real people on ground have shown the virtual people who’s real. 6 Likes 1 Share |

A lady (osun civil servant) came to Abuja to see her husband last week, same thing she said, Oyetola pay salary when due in fact she hurriedly traveled back to Osun state on Friday in order to caste her vote. Omoboricash: 1 Like |

Tolexander: Thank you for this informed comment that is miles away from hatred inspired empty comments from illiterates on this forum. Believe me, there are many of them here. As a resident of osogbo in Osun state, I know that everything contained in your comment is a fact. It is rather painful that the idi*t who caused the socio economic problems in the state actually connived with opposition to unseat a person that did his best in clearing the mess he created. A very unfortunate situation. During polling, APC agents directed voters to vote PDP. I have never witnessed such anti party activities. It was like APC was in opposition and vice versa. In all this, Osun state is the loser. 6 Likes |

Oyetola was a victim of circumstance, people vented the anger of non performance of the Government at the center on him, coupled with their love for Adeleke whose erstwhile vote was hijacked. Osun people were resolute in their desire, Ekiti people were not. 3 Likes |

That's why Nigerians will Take Back Nigeria from you people next year. All APC is good at is justifying their gross failure. Life under the hated PDP was like heaven compared to what it has become under you pack of failures. The President claimed that Nigeria is better today than when he came in. APC- Bunch of Devils from Top to Bottom Let APC return to opposition. That is where you belong. seunmsg: 1 Like |

You guys will just be saying rubbish because you hate him. Oyetola that you guys are praising, was he not one of most important cabinet members of Aregbe's administration? 2 Likes |

Oyetola had his merits, no doubt. But his jinx came from basically 2 factors : He belonged and was sponsored by a political party that has courted public ire, and the internal wrangling in the party did not help him. Secondly, like Osinbajo, Buhari seem to be indifferent about APC's luck this time around... He had removed the battery of the monumental "remote control" and I guess it's not far from his secret disdain for a Tinubu. 1 Like |

sanyaolurilwan: God bless you for this, Rilwan. I watched the debate and was like “this governor, talk for God’s sake”. He was too quiet and did not effectively reel out his administration’s achievements. Osun people once removed Akande and got Oyinlola instead. They regretted it. They’ll regret this one also. Oyetola should be preparing for 2022 (if Jesus tarries). It happened in Ekiti and I see him taking over a state that would have then become a joke and heavily indebted under the Dancing Senator. |

Nigerians always play to the gallery, no objectivity, that's why they always suffer. So many here won't even look at the figures you put up there, their own is to follow the crowd like zombie Crowd mentality is real, especially among people with low iq. Op no mind them, let them continue to wallow in mediocrity. 2 Likes |

seunmsg: While Oyetola may be a good governor for us in Osun, it would simply be insulting the sensibilities of others by assuming no one could outperform him as a governor in a state that boasts of over 5million adults. The federal government gave him 11b for federal roads done my aregbe even the Omipidan confirmed it of raffm on two occasions, osun is now making billions of naira of gold mining every month without no significant improvement in the life of osun people. He hijacked allocation of local government even local government chairman can't paint his office without going to osogbo to beg governor for money. No single meaningful project in over 3 years.. he will down as the worst governor in the history of osun state. If only States are allowed to control their resources, things might be different.... Sen. Adeleke should talk less and get people who are versatile on economic matters to study the current profile of the State and advise him on the way forward. All the talk about money being taken to Lagos holds no water. A study of the history of the State shows the growth of the debt burden and slower rate of growth of the IGR. |

Norwichsailor: My brother, I dislike that Tinubu pass anyone on this earth. I just don't like thieves, nothing more. Every election I have organized to topple him in Lagos governance openly in protests and marches at Lekki toll gate at election time. I contributed to Jimi Agbaje every election cycle. Right now I am on my knees praying for him to be digraced in this election because I want Yorubas to break up Nigeria. Minorities cannot break Nigeria, it will take one of the majors and Igbos are not serious about Biafra with that fraudulent map. Only the Yorubas posses the capacity and incentive to break Nigeria. Niger delta want a federation of their own but are too fragmented into many nations to take on Nigeria and so has the incentive but no capacity, yet. With all of these, I don't hate anybody. Not Yoruba, not Igbo, not even Fulani. Everyone is simply acting out their interest the way they think is best for them no matter how misguided. As much as I dislike Tinubu, I wish him good health, long life and wisdom. That is what the Igbo psyche cannot do. Igbo hate Yoruba for their superior culture, language, geography and heritage. I too have problems with Yorubas, no one is perfect, but I have never thought of Lagos as "no man's land". Minorities and even Fulanis don't think that way. Only the Igbos say Lagos is no man's land only so to desecrate Yoruba heritage. South South is lucky that One Nigeria did not develop Niger Delta ports. That should wait until after the breakup of Nigeria as it will only bring massive aggressive Igbo populations to its doorstep to dilute and pollute local cultural dynamics just as they currently lay siege on Port Harcourt. Self_determination is the only and the ultimate solution to Nigeria's problem. Territorial nomadic Fulanis and territorial nomadic landlocked Igbos fear freedom for the rest of us. Peter Obi is a gaslighting Igbo project that they want to fool the unsuspecting into believing he is a savior, just like until recently Nnamdi Kanu (I once contributed to that idiot before I saw my village on his Biafrauud map). 1 Like |

seunmsg: 1. Rauf was indeed a huge failure but what did his APC and government do? They rewarded him with Federal appointment. 2. Oyetola may have done well (under the circumstance) in his 4 yrs but its cheap, way too cheap for you or anyone to assert that Osun People endorsed his opponent because he was 'not wasteful' . this is glaring considering the following a. The two major candidates squared went through the same contest in 2018, how did it go? are unaware that the people of Osun voted hugely for Adeleke in that election to the extent Oyetola couldn't find his bearing until the stage-managed rerun? b. Would it shock you to know that Oyetola is considered by many in Osun to be a product and extension of the dismal performance of Raul ? It is perceived in such quarters that the same external forces that brought in Rauf (Dismal performance governor) are one and the same rooting for Oyetola and the people thus are determined to change things? 3. How come try to lampoon Oshogbo people for Oyetola's failure when Adeleke won in 17 out of 30 states? How did Adeleke get some votes in Ife LGAs to the extent of winning one of the LGAs? 4. With the unresolved intraparty conflict the bedeviled Osun APC prior to the election how could anyone have expected a fantastic outing for Oyetola? Let me state that considering the dismal performance of APC National government, every APC aspirant need to do more to sell himself to the people if winning the election is desired 2 Likes |

But so far, there is nothing the Senator has put on ground or displayed during the TV Debates, to show that he can do better of course, time will tell! So, people are still asking - where did Govnr Oyetola missed it? |
