derecho: I think you're right. Oyetola might be a fine gentleman governor but he represents Tinubu, Alpha Beta, etc. that are cutting big from the little the state has. People are angry against a man who sold them out to Fulani terrorists. |

And the family circle continues... Bookmark this page and come back years later. Good afternoon, osun people, how is the family? 1 Like

Bluntemperor: Oyetola is too calm to slug it out with the kind of character and popularity of Adeleke family with a divided front. Our democracy has not developed into issue based. People complain about not spending money and mobilising party members as well. |

Norwichsailor: Very true.that was how they said that buhari won't get 5% but he almost won edo and bayelsa.in ss,votes are gotten according to party structure not popularity. Oba might win aks |

Oyetola is a good person but in paying salaries he's worse. All the salaries aregbesola owed the staff and pensioners he couldn't pay them. He's generating good IGR but all the IGR money is going into tinubu's bullion van and what projects has he done to improve the economy of that state. 1 Like 1 Share |

Naira20: As in, you can advise others but you are too big or too omniscient to be advised? You really need a long hard look at the mirror. If you have one in your house, go have a look at it. You are the quintessential definition of HYPOCRITE & DRIED-UP LAKE with no intake of fresh water. I feel very sorry for you. Wow! Even the devil quoted the scriptures when he tempted our Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ! It’s no surprise there that you managed to quote a verse off the Bible as well. |

seunmsg: That was why I was surprised that he was really struggling to be the governor then, even when it was obvious that he wasn't loved, both by his fellow party members and lots of people in the state. I was also surprised that he kept shouting continuity as his slogan then, when he knew that there was nothing to continue. After all, he was in Aregbesola's cabinet and wasn't oblivious to the state of things. A sane man should definitely run away from such responsibilities but only God knows what he saw. 1 Like |

Kagd10:Aregbe never supported Oyetola as his successor, in fact, that was the source of internal conflict in Osun Apc. Oyetola tried his best especially in educational reforms but people were just tired of Apc, they want to try other options. The same people that voted Oyetola out will vote Adeleke out if he does not perform but I hope he does. 2 Likes |

YungMillionaire: Worst he is not intelligent @ all . I watched him during the debet. To be candid, the best of them all in that debt was Lasun the Labor Party guy, mennnnnnnnnnn that guy knows too much abeg followed by Oyetola for me but you see that Jackson guy ehn!!!! (dancing senator) Kai! Kai! it was zero negative I tell you. I wonder what he will be doing in that Osun gov house. Anyway, the other billonia Adeleke's will help him govern the state from the now Osun state government house annex (Lagos) Osun people don't know what they've done to themselves. Mind you, am 100% obidient all the way. Am just been objective here and calling a spade a spade. No more no less |

ERockson:keep swelling to the gods. But lemme school you; Oyetola is a good man to some people. Paying salaries shouldn't be an achievement and should not be a yardstick to measure the competency of a particular government. Sometime last year, I was told someone is now my superior. I just laughed it off as a joke, not until it became known to me that the governor approved conversion and advancement for iragbiji indigenes in the civil service. Ask that brother of yours about this claim, and edit your post thereafter. |

You've said it all bro. I don't want to comment on nairaland till month-end but I was mesmerized by your write-up. We looked at Oyetola till we pushed him into canal . Let all those Apc miscrants continue to open more threads to justify Oyetola. They are never from our state . More Apc memebers will lule in 2023, Ajibola Bashiru will surely lule. Era of Apc in osun is over ridbell01: |

zealousayo: When i say Nigerians are their problems. It is a fact. We can never grow. This same civil servants issues. Civil servant state without anything to show for it. Just paying salaries. Civil servants are one of the biggest problems of Osun. Wish that state could get a governor with half a good brain and cut the civil service by half . Half of them are doing nothing especially those in Ministries and Local governments. They go there just to warm chairs and wait for the end of the month to receive salaries. You cannot move them to other jobs because they don't have the skills and would not skill up and would be the first to carry placards to protest at the slightest mention of a test. The civil service is a mafia in Nigeria. Half would not last 3months in a private entity without getting multiple queries and eventual sack because of none existent KPIs. Ogo ta , ogo o ta, Owo alaru a pe. Na the doctors, teachers, nurses under the state government i just pity. The collective uselessness of the other sectors would never allow them get their dues. Una go dey alright though. Like I said, Nigerians want development but they abdicate their personal responsibilities. As for the incoming Governor. All the best. Two things would happen. He eithers borrows his way to satisfy the endless list of "people" who think they had a hand in his election and waiting for their reward and also tries deliver on infrastructure while plunging the state into more debt. Or he does the sane thing of cutting off the leeches and run more prudently. Saving the state but putting himself in bad spotlight with his so called "open the vault" and "spend the" supporters (money that is non existent). We all know what he would do. So good luck to osun people. Hopefully a miracle happens, some oil sprouts out from the ground and wins the state billions of dollars in Revenue. Or probably the people would sit up one day and note that genuine development comes from them applying themselves with a bit of support from government. Osogbo has almost 24 hours light in the last 30 years. The only existing industries are pure water factories, shopping complexes and Petrol stations. I thought the general notion in Nigeria was that electricity has been the bane of underdevelopment. 3 Likes |

Aregbesola is now the black sheep of Osun State because he didn't work for Oyetola this time around. I remember Aregbesola was campaigning, they were posting pictures of Trumpet flyover in Osun hailing Aregbe as a reputable Engineer and a prodigy of Tinubu leadership school. But today, Oyetola is a saint and Aregbe is the devil. Let Oyetola do the mistake of not supporting Tinubu's ambition and watch the same people play his tape. E go shock u say the same people wey call am angel go still call am devil. Nigerians, I fear una 1 Like
