I dont think that is right and I hope its not right

Its obvious Osun people like PDP or Adeleke. He was denied his mandate in 2018 and they gave it to him powerfully this time. It will be wrong to deny him based on court case again

Let him do his 4yrs, its not that far. Let electorates judge him after the 4yrs. If he doesn't perform they vote him out.

Also the APC has to learn from losing too. Especially in states where the support is close to 50-50

It's a pre election matter. It's a PDP v PDP case.

Federal High Court in Ondo (Not sure) already ruled that the primaries that produced Adeleke was done at the right place but with a wrong/forged delegate list and that the other guy primaries was done at the wrong place but with the right delegate list.

The guy took the case to Appeal for the Appeal court to announce him as the authentic candidate of the party instead of Adeleke since he was elected by the right delegate.

If the Appeal Court uphold the ruling of the FHC, it means PDP has no eligible candidate in the just concluded election and all the votes they got will be voided.

It was the same way APC lost Zamfara when the court canceled the primaries that produced all APC candidates. PDP candidates automatically won.

I expect the Adeleke to have settled the case since tho or maybe they will just give the guy anything he wants to withdraw the suit.

He is the last of the 3 in SS abi you think he should be 1st or 2nd?

Oshiomole is running for senate and he will take some people for Tinunu
You have to also let people know that you arranged the names in order of how they'll perform in those regions from left to right signifying first to last. You know Nairaland and IQ. This is not about Izzou by the way as he holds his own.

It is either they perform or they're toast the next step should be listing on the NSE so that the public can monitor their performance over time.
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Theflint1(m): 6:05pm On Jul 19, 2022
The region Oshiomhole is from in Edo State is like 15% of Edo States population and that part of Edo State has a good spread of Christians too, who would kick against this Muslim-Muslim ticket. But even if Tinubu gets that 15% entirely, it's little or nothing in the entire SS. South South is Atiku and Peter Obi.

I wonder how the APC factor would play in this permutation though, people are tired of APC, even up North. Those not voting Atiku up North will vote Kwakwanso (an alternative for those tired of APC and even PDP). Tinubu will get votes up North though, he could tie NC but will most likely come third NW and NE. The Northerners can keep the presidency by voting Atiku, why vote Tinubu?
raumdeuter:

SW = Tinubu vs Atiku vs Obi

SE = Obi vs Atiku

SS = Atiku vs Obi vs Tinubu

NC = Tinubu vs Atiku vs Obi

NE = Atiku vs Tinubu vs Kwankwanso

NW = Tinubu vs Kwankwanso vs Atiku

That order is important as its from most favored to least favored. From left to right
Tinubu is first in 3 regions, Atiku is first in 2 regions, If Obi voters lose the ginger Atiku automatically becomes favorite in 4 regions and very competitive in SW. Obi's candidacy, being on the ballot and going into election with full belief he will win is very crucial for this election

I did not consider any candidate that will get less than 5% of votes

Which still means Tinubu will be 3rd in SS behind Atiku and Obi. Tinubu will get more votes in SS than in the SE where he wont be a factor at all

I guess you're F.C grin grin, same here but ain't so much about Fanbase, I listen to good music that's why I rate Fireboy and burnaboy more(they speak life). Damini worth every hype it's getting 100%, like I said wizzy,David and Fireboy have to put more effort to beat damini.

On Asa, I pick Lucid album over V(Check Google rating).

"good music" has nothing to do with "life" songs

everybody with his own specialty and style

how many of these foreign artistes we all worship sings about life?

why are the ones that doesn't do "life" more successful than the ones that does it

burna boy ain't perfect

if one of his counterparts enter studio and sing I need Igbo and shayo

you think say the one fanbase no go use it against the other

dem go troll them tire

do you listen to brymo?

he does the "life" songs too even better

Did APC not win the gubernatorial elections in Bayelsa in 2019? How come someone wants to analyze an election but conveniently avoids facts that would have affected his analysis of said election. If you point it out, they'll label you an APC apologist.

APGA wins elections in Anambra, doesn't mean a Peter Obi won't sweep Anambra even if APGA had a presidential candidate. Bayelsa is a strong PDP state. Which APC candidate won elections in Bayelsa in 2019? Their present governor is a PDP party member.

True sha, but in truth it will be insignificant. If Peter Obi wasn't running Tinubu may have gotten votes from South Easterners who would not want Northern presidency back to back.

Local gubernatorial politics s different. Jonathan got like 99% of votes from Bayelsa in presidential but if he had contsted for Bayelsa governors he wont get up to them

The race becomes our son vs outsider

I try to avoid emotions and make analysis based on numbers

If Obi wasnt running all those votes would have gone to Atiku straight as the PDP is very strong in the SE. Actually SE and SS are PDPs strongest base

Exactly. If their APC candidate that won the governorship elections initially was on seat it'd have been a factor but now that it's PDP governor there, APC has no chance.

APC have governors in the NW who know their career is doomed with an Atiku presidency and they know they will still be relevant as long as APC wins even if its Tinubu and that positions them to ascend to presidency in 8yrs. These Northern APC governors were the ones who prevailed on Buhari to rotate to the South when Buhari was asking for courtesy of picking his successor which was Lawan

There are semi strong APC candidates in the South vying for governorship and will want to prove themselves to the center that they are not useless. Same way I will expect Ademola to rally votes for Atiku in Osun to prove to the center that they are relevant

I agree PDP would have won still, but Nigerians not wanting a Northern candidate back to back is a factor too. APC Southern wing could have actually pushed the agenda and it would have given them votes, not just in South East but South-South. The dynamics of each election changes with the persons running and the overall mood of the country.

I mean, I agree with this but notice how it was not argued by the same PDP adherents concerning Osun. Rather, they saw APC losing there as a symbol of how the SW was not going to be a BAT stronghold. That was my point: they conveniently use a manner of thinking in a direction they are biased towards but get rigid when the tables are turned. Similar to how Ekiti was rigged but Osun was the people's choice even though both were conducted by the same Buhari led APC.

I don't think that'd matter still, the two major political parties have always had candidates in all the states, hasn't stopped them from being beaten badly in certain states. Even without the Ademola factor, PDP/LP would have gotten votes still. APC is very unpopular in Nigeria today (whether it's a fair assessment of their performance or not, doesn't matter). The overall sentiment is people are tired of APC at the federal level and that will probably be Tinubu's biggest challenge in this election.
