Lol, person wey get 100,000 subscribers wey no fit throw party, get problems wey na only him village people fit solve.

With that amount of subscribers, na only stingy people no go share their blessings. In fact I dream of building a center in Nigeria that teaches welding, sowing, carpentry, graphics design, web development, programming, electronics, electrical studies, money management, problem solving skills.

The idea is to model it after things found in western countries, with proper buildings, not the ugly things I see a lot in Nigeria.

It I will be free or very cheap. The aim is not to make money, but to develop our people, just like Japan and China did for their people.

I need to hammer to do all these thing, for now they remain a lofty dream.

My guy you are very uninformed. First of all, I've been here for more than 16 years.

Second of all, most people in the US see Nigerians as very smart, hardworking, intelligent, and rich. You know why? They tell me that
their nurse is Nigerian, their Doctor is Nigerian, their teacher in the University is Nigerian, the smartest person in their class in University was a Nigerian, and the list goes on. Whenever I go to a hospital, I look at the wall and see a bunch of Nigerian Doctors and Nurses listed there.

Most blacks in top Universities here are Nigerians or Nigerian descent. One of the most successful ethnic groups in America are Nigerians.

I get more opportunities in the States because of my Nigerian background. Even Black Americans complain that the white men treat us better. And I've had conversations with some whites that prefer Africans, because we are more focused and easier to get along with. But I always make sure to point out that the Black Americans have a good reason to be pissed, though they need to do a better job at channeling that anger to get a better result.

Please guys, try not to lecture someone who lives in a country, based on what you hear online. You dey talk like say I just left Nigeria yesterday. If you read my thread, then you should know that I left Nigeria at age 18, and I'm 46 now. Experience ti pko ju!

And by the way, I'm from Abia State, but grew up in Lagos.

Everyone get their own way of contributing, this is my way. A lot can be done via internet research by Nigerians trying to find new opportunities.

As I keep sharing, hopefully it will give them ideas that can help.

I also plan to interview Nigerians I come across to tell us how they got there so others can learn from them.
