Because he's one of the urchins supporting obi. Hiding under the guise of supporting Obi to spew hate against my tribe.

This whole Obi support thing has degenerated into a full blown ethnic hatred.

He can achieve presidency without his foot soldiers desperately trying to rubbish the Yoruba tribe.

Rubbish the Yoruba Tribe?

Because he dragged MKO that even FELA insulted (International Thief Thief)?

Relax oga. No dey read another meaning into am

I think Nairaland generally na cruise centre.

The way people use pronouns like "We" and talk collectively when talking about their personal preference dey always funny. Na so Popi talk say him people go vote for a particular candidate as if dem do zoom meeting and they all agreed to vote for one person and dem swear oath not to back out grin

I asked an Hausa guy in the market who he was voting for?

I listed Tinubu, Atiku and Obi.

The guy asked me why I did not list Kwankwaso.

Before I go explain, the guy tell me say na Kwankwaso him go vote. In his words, "who be Tinubu and Obi"? grin grin grin

Na only here Tinubu go win NW with a large landslide. In reality, people don tire

Egun is not Yoruba...Egun is not a sub-group of Yoruba. It is an ethnic group in it capacity. It's also called Gbe or Fon..

Eguns are not know as Yorubas because they can’t trace their origins... They are most times used as a mockery for anyone who doesn’t know where he’s from..

On what authority are u saying this?.

For Ur information I did Lagos And it's history as a course in my 200Level and I can authoritatively tell u that u have little idea of what u are saying

I am a full fledged Omo Eko and I am telling you egun is not Yoruba. They were never part of yoruba in the first place, they don't even speak the language and we did not originate from the same place..

They have almost no word in common. I speak very fluent Yoruba and I never ever picked a word of Egun. It is not a dialect of Yoruba but a different language.

The ironic thing is, David Hundeyin is from Badagry, Lagos (actually, more of a Lagosian than Tinubu) and he's Yoruba.

So, you're going to "teach an Igbo man a lesson" Igbo man because an independent Yoruba journalist exposed two Yoruba men? Make it make sense!

-------
By the way, Osinbajo's campaign DG, Richard Akinnola, isn't supporting Tinubu and has kicked against aligning with Tinubu along with members of the Osinbajo campaign team like Lara Wise and the likes.

Oga Kay, he's not Yoruba. Is kogi Yoruba?
They bear Yoruba names and can speak Yoruba but theirs is different...

Baba, I know what I am saying...

Don't fuel tribal hatred where there is none, and even if you want to, abeg pity Igbos. We don too collect stray bullet for this country

Tinubu's drug case has been on even before David graduated from Uni. He presented his facts. Nobody has countered it, and then you say he's rubbishing your tribe

MKO's corrupt case is not news. He's known for his philanthropy, love for sports and June 12 elections. But these dents have been there. FELA, that you probably eulogize dragged him in a song. But David mentioned it, and you have put it on the Igbos.

David is not even Igbo to start with. He just doesn't support APC (Something many Yorubas dont), but you guys don't believe its possible.

Baba, you just dey pour fuel where fire no dey, to be honest

LOL.

The average Badagry person is more Lagosian that Tinubu sef. So because they speak egun dialect makes them not Yoruba?

I guess Lagos state is under spell to have had Badagry the land of eguns duly represented under the 5 divisions of the state ; IBILE.

A Lagosian that knows the history of his people will know Lagos is indigenous to majorly Awori people, slave trade returnees from Brazil and other countries ( who populate Lagos Island) and Badagry

I think u have a very poor knowledge of some of these things u are talking about. The okun people in Kogi are Yoruba; yes they are in a state populated by Ebira, Igala and Co, but then the okun are Yoruba.

You cant just say they are not Yorubas because you think they are not. History doesn't work that way.

I think government needs to let schools start teaching history again.

'Lagos' starts from the current Cowrie Bridge and ends at Ebute Ero. That was the original Lagos. The suburbs were the Aworis were living were never part of modern Lagos. Ebute Metta, Yaba, Badagry and Ikorodu only became part of Lagos in the 1920s..

Till today, the Eyo Festival is a Bini Festival. The word Eko is of Bini origin. Iga idugaran where the Oba Palace is currently situated is a Bini word. The title 'Oba' is a Bini word., Idumagbo, Idumota, Eti Osa are all Bini word..

Does that make binis Yorubas?

Yeah those are the returnees. Those that returned from Sierra Leone were popularly referred to as the "Saros", 2hile those that returned from Brazil, Cuba etc are called "Aguda". Anybody who is conversant with Lagos Island will see some of their family houses and their meeting points in Isale Eko

Stop this revisionist nonsense because Hundeyin attacked your drug lord candidate.

Yoruba is a group of subethnicities, a tribe with similarities in language and culture.

Until less than 250 years ago, there was no such thing as Yoruba. There were ethnicities which share similarities. Egûns of Lagos and Ogun are as Yoruba as the Aworis of Ogún State. The Ife people are just as Yoruba as the Illajes of Ondo State. Yoruba is a tribe made up of sub ethnicities.

The Abakalikis of Ebonyi have language distinctions from the Nwewis of Anambra and the Awaras of Imo but all are Igbos.

Even until 180 years ago, the Oros and Efiks all identified as Ibibio. Gov. Udom Emmanuel is from Onna LGA in Akwa Ibom and their language is distinct from the main Ibibio stock which I hail from but Gov. Udom is no less Ibibio and no Ibibio man would castigate him as such. Each Ibibio sub ethnicity has slight language distinctions from the other but all are no less Ibibio.

The Eguns are just as Yoruba as the Egbas.
I dare you to say Eguns are not Yorubas on Twitter.

Nobody has ever insistently referred to the Eguns as non-Yorubas but because David Hundeyin exposed Tinubu, you've began a revisionist descent to targeted neo-tribal cleansing against the Eguns out of nowhere.

Focus on the issue! Tinubu is a drug pusher is the issue.

There are different accounts about the origin of Lagos. There is a version about Lagos originally belonging to the bini's.

The problem u are having is u are not open minded. U beleive Lagos is originally owned by Yorubas and that's that. U are unwilling to explore the possibility of different accounts of the origin of Lagos, it's original settlers and their history. You believe just one of the accounts.

For example, just take a look at this man's account of Lagos' history below ;

I'm not saying he's right, but neither am I saying he's wrong cos some scholars have written about same

lolz . But the same guy dropped a piece on the Nasco guy, and did same about Akpabio and Akwa Ibomite.

Maybe David has any-Yoruba agenda , I wouldn’t know. I don’t even follow him and don’t know much about him excerpt for when some of his piece makes headlines , but then I think u are also wrong generalizing about Igbos hating Tinubu and most things Yorubas.

Love for Tinubu is not the S.I unit to measure the love for the whole tribe of Yoruba. Tinubu is not even loved by Afenifere the pan-Yoruba movement ( Not like Me myself give 2 4cks about those old men too)

Ademola Adeleke won in Osun and many of you here are rejoicing.... yet we are praying and hoping for a better, progressive, prosperous Nigeria.

Can we pray and hope someone like Ademola Adeleke becomes next Nigeria President?

Many of us are showing pure hatred against Candidacy of a particular Candidate regardless of his Conpetence and past administrative records.

We're ready to go low, simply to de-market him, to the extent of tarnishing image of MKO Abiola. Haaaba.... for what exactly?

All of the leading presidential Aspirants are simply a Gamble. We wouldn't know what they are capable of, until they get there. Some of thought Buhari is the Messiah, but today we are wailing.

Most of the Obidients were part of Buhari is a Messiah Crew, today same Buhari is a Devil and big Mistake.

This is not time to throwing tantrums and engaging ourselves like Newspapers Stands Patrons.
