adefunkeadelaku: Lol, i don't know about that, however, you will be required to undergo another round of documentation at the venue though it entails confirming the information you filled while booking the appointment. I believe at that point you can choose to update any information you have like the passport change. 2 Likes |

No two Visa applications are the same. It's best if a police report is submitted. What worked for you may not work for others. Just an advise though... All the best Papapa1234: |

Teezkid: Yes, you can get update without email IRCC. I haven't send a single email since I've applied on April 27 and I keep getting update on my application and now reviewing my eligible, hope to receive my PPR soon. And Note that too much email annoyed some VO, that's is the reason some application get refused with minor reason. 3 Likes |

Hello all. I am a graduate of Computer Science 2015. I had initially gotten admission to Fanshawe for Mobile Application Development but got withdrawn due to late deposit payment. Anyways now I have two pending admissions : Information Business Technology Analysis from Connestoga and Supply Chain Management from Northern College I have been working as in Inventory officer in a Supermarket since 2017 so I'm wondering which course would make better sense to accept for visa explanation purposes especially since the study gap. The supply management has a lot of courses that directly reference inventory and has a Co-op work term |

trinityconcept:I will advise you go for a Post Graduate Certificate/Diploma program. Getting admission to masters program in Canada with 2.2 or cgpa lower than 3.5/5.0 is really difficult, but not impossible. If you want to try your luck, you can. 1. Calculate your CGPA for the last 2 years of your Bachelor’s program and see if it's higher than the overall CGPA. That could give a chance. 2. Apply to universities that are less competitive in Canada. If you apply to top universities like, university of Toronto, McMaster, Manitoba etc, they are competitive and they have higher number of applicants yearly. (You can check the top list of canadian universities and apply to lower 20+) 3. Use your years of working experience to your advantage. In your SOP for graduate studies, indicate how your years of experience has improved your skills and development. 4. Try to do some online courses related to your proposed program, it could give you upper hands. Check Coursera, Udemy etc... If you can write GRE or GMAT, it'll as well boost your chances. Note - If the program requires securing a supervisor before applying, try as much as possible to get one. That is actually a Jackpot to getting admitted. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Johnvee11: Yes you can do that. You can also attach receipts of sales or contractual agreements being handled by the busines. Since you are using a business, there's no need for payslips |

Hey Lekiboboe, I sent a mail to Qlife a few days ago requesting for a personal copy of my test results and here's the reply I got from them in a couple of minutes: "Dear Sir, To get a copy of the report, kindly come to the facility with your Information Sheet and N2500 Best Regards" So they give the results, but with conditions. Personally, the obligation to "come [in person] to the facility" drives me up the wall, to say the least. What is worse, after I wrote them back to ask for other available options since I'm not based in, and stay 100s of kms from, Lagos, I got no further reply to date. I mean, this is crazy! I should pay 1000s of naira on transport/flight with the concomitant travel risks to go to Lagos just to collect a result that can be forwarded to me via email. I don't understand what my physical presence would change. This is really funny! They even charge money (₦2, 500) to collect the results of tests one paid for. I mean... Anyways, I'll call them to give them a piece of my mind if they insist... I booked for medical exams from a far distance (online), but I can't collect my results from a far distance. Meanwhile, those who are based in Lagos and did their Medicals at Qlife, please walk in to their facility with the information provided above and collect your results, if you want. It'll end in praise for all of us! Lekiboboe: |

Why don't you go for a Master's in Computer Science. It will make a lot of sense for a career progression, a direct match to your Bsc. Just an advise ... All the best! BenedictStinson: |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Anon123: 11:42am On Jul 20, 2022 |
omodesmond7744: These are my recommendations. You could go for a BSC since you are only 27. You can include assets owned by family. You are still an owner of the property. You can still sponsor yourself. When writing your sop, try to buy into the visa officer's conscience by selling a story of how you have struggled after secondary school and your determination to make something of yourself hence why you made it your sworn duty to get a degree. 1 Like |
