Yes, it is our wish. I mean looking at Senegal's first XI makes me so envious. grin

It really hit me before Bassey's move to Ajax was halfway done that we only had 3 players in top clubs across Europe. Only 3!!! Mehn! I was blown away thinking deeper about it.

Thanks goodness for Bassey. He makes it 4 now.

But on the overall, it is not just about him joining a top and Historically prestigious club like Ajax... it is more about the fact that I trust he will slot in very well at his new club and sync really good with their playing style.

Best move of the window for a Naija player this summer of 2022 BY FAARRRRR.

exactly, the caliber of clubs Senegalese players re playing for is frightening and 70% of those players are French born

But what you get here is folks making you understand that we hv players at nassarawa united who can do better than our kids in europe which is born out of prejudice, sentiment and emotions

I hv nothing against home based players but only the very best should be deemed good enough for a place in the super eagles

I wonder how ashamed amokachi will be seeing this deal go through

Maybe but right now, their eyes are on Lingard. They are already advanced in negotiations with him. If they land Lingard and considering they also have Awo then... well... Time will tell if they go in hard for Dennis.

lingard will joining on a free transfer so they will still hv funds left for dennis but I doubt they will splash the 25m watford are demanding for

That is the whole point naa. Join a top club and Ball week in, week out.

All 4 naija lads are super regulars.

But you make a fine point here bcoz not all of Senegal's lads in top clubs ball regularly.

The likes of Buona Sarr at Bayern and Abdou Diallo at PSG aren't regulars.

True that. Though I understand Nottingham are outbidding West ham for the moment as regards Meeting Lingard's personal terms so they will be spending a good amount contract-wise to land him.

Dennis' transfer is likely to take us all by surprise again like he did last summer when he just popped up in Watford colors. No one saw that coming. Not even me. Lol

for me I won’t want him to move to Forrest, was hoping clubs likes Leeds,Everton and westham would hv signed him up but I believe what is keeping clubs away from him is the amount watford wants

I believe Denis will remain at the epl but for now Forrest are the only interested club

diallo is tipped to be among those pencilled down to replace koulibaly at Napoli

TheLoneCitizen:

He's one of the players I don't rate, because from his style of play, I don't understand why he scores so many goals.

However, the most important reason why Forest went for Awoniyi ahead of a cheaper Dessers and a proven Dennis (both on their hitlist) is that they wanted a player who would suit Steve Cooper's strategy: two-man attack.

So with no change of system, he should do well.

Also Forest had a fan favourite in Keinan Davis, who is almost a carbon copy of Taiwo Awoniyi in playing style. Awo just far better finishing and chance creation.
Another reason he should do well.

Again, Forest are PL relegation favourites and had one of the weakest teams in Championship top 7, so Awoniyi will be working with little expectations despite his record fee and should do well.

Lastly, with Cooper's attacking brand of football, I believe Awoniyi should hit 10+GA.

One of the reasons Forest didn't sign Dennis and Dessers is because they wanted a Nigerian already comfortable in the two-man system.

If they are signing Lingard, then they are about to ditch this system, which will open the door for Dennis.

Yes. That was as early as last week. But right now, Napoli are closing in on an even better defender.

Kim Min Jae of Fenerbahce and Korea. That lad is a beast and possibly Korea's favorite player in the NT after Heung min son. A beast of a defender. Intelligent, fast, two footed and competitive like all true elite Asians are.

yes of course you re right but with more pressure some will bulge

Tosin won’t smell the 3 lions squad to the next world cup

Torunarigha is ready to talk with the nff if they return for him

Rumour has it that ex coach rohr held several talks with uduokhai and something was on the verge of happening before the Augsburg cb got injured which kept him out for a long time

21 year old Jonas David chimezie is not a regular at bundesliga 2 side Hamburg but highly rated and hv already voiced his interest in repping us

You need to watch him a bit more. Remember these are just clips. But yes, he is indeed really good based on my own personal view since I have actually watched him play.

I made sure I picked one of the very best compilations of the lad out there & stored in my YT playlists to show you.

Rennes in Ligue 1 are also in for him. So Napoli is literally trying hard to beat Rennes to the lad. An EPL team rumored to be Arsenal also took interest in Kim.

Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa has detailed his relationship with Amaju Pinnick, stating that the Nigeria Football Federation boss attempted to bring him to Warri Wolves when he was Chairman of the Delta State club.

Pinnick has claimed that he is not seeking re-election for a third term in the aftermath of Nigeria's failure to qualify for the 2022 World Cup, on the advice of his family.

Allnigeriasoccer.com can report with certainty that Pinnick is still interested in a third term but is wary of setting the record straight because of his earlier pronouncement.

The football administrator has taken several State FA Chairmen, who hold the aces in the NFF Presidential election, to Morocco for the ongoing 2022 Women's Africa Cup of Nations to help sway their decison ahead of the election.

Asked to share his thoughts on Pinnick's third term bid, Musa said in an exclusive interview with Arise News : "I'd say I want him back but he has come out to say that he'll sit down with his family and they said it's time for him to leave so we don't have to force him.

"If a person that knows the job, loves this game, wants to quit, we can't force him. He knows what made him to make that statement. He decided he doesn't want to go for the third term so we just have to wait and see because I'm not voting, the Chairmen do the votes.

"Even when I was playing in Kano Pillars Amaju Pinnick wanted to sign me for Warri Wolves when he was the Chairman of the club so we have come a long way with him and than he believes what I can do."

Musa went on to confirm the key role Pinnick played in his inclusion in the Super Eagles squad to the 2018 World Cup, noting that his place on the roster was not guaranteed as a result of his lack of playing time at Leicester City.

"I remember back then in Leicester when I was not playing before the World Cup, a lot of people were complaining, 'Musa is not playing in Leicester so why is he going to the World Cup', but the president spoke with the coach that no matter what Musa has to be in the World Cup so I went to Russia and later on he was saying you see.

"I remember when I was back home without a club I was still called up to the Super Eagles which a lot of people questioned.

"We have a very good relationship with him but there is nothing personal apart from that. He believes in me and I believe in him, he knows what I can do as a leader."

Nigeria's all-time appearance maker Musa was in the Super Eagles team that failed to qualify for the 2022 World Cup, coming off the bench to replace Oghenekaro Etebo in the 78th minute in the playoff tie versus Ghana at the MKO Abiola National Stadium in Abuja.

Naija Defenders Transfer Record: From Taribo West to Calvin Bassey

Back in 1997, Taribo West was one of the world's most coveted Center backs. Inter Milan paid a then record fee for a Defender from Auxerre in Ligue 1...

"€12 million euros" according to some sources including Harry Slavin of Daily mail sport.

Taribo West would go on to forge quite a status for himself in Milan featuring for both Inter and AC.

Fast forward to today, and his transfer record that stood since the time I was barely out of diapers has been smashed to pieces by a young Calvin Bassey Ughelumba.

"23 million euros rising to 26.5 (approx 27) million euros."

The Glory of the latter house shall be what......? Complete the rest wink
