Some things will become clear as the elections get closer and I won't be surprised if Tinubu ends up collapsing his structure for Atiku. Notice how Atiku laughed at the notion that those up North will vote for Tinubu over him a Northerner ...they prefer to deceive themselves than wake up to reality. Peter Obi contesting these elections was the worst thing to happen to Tinubu, that's what will cost him Southern votes, even South West votes.

He is an astute politician and knows how the game is been played even if it will get dirty. Anyone that wants to be objective will know northerners will preferably favour Atiku, given his antecedents and a lot of baggage associated with APC, gale of defections, and many non-partisans electorates rejecting muslim/muslim APC might have problem usurping Atiku in the north. PO has chances but very slim and that will depend on what happened between now till election month.

Seriously Atiku win will be a setback and will plunge this country into the same cabals and elite politicians that have held this country down for long and it will be a clear shortchange to the southerners. His only advantage against Tinubu is been "more healthier" and nothing else.
