Preseason Injury Update: Ndidi injured again

Brendan Rodgers confirms that Wilfred Ndidi who only recently made a return to full training with the group after recovering from a knee operation, done since March, picked up a fresh injury in training... an ankle injury this time.

This explains why he isn't a part of Leicester's ongoing Preseason fixture vs OH Leuven.

Brendan hopes Ndidi will be able to return to training by next week.

Sad. Wishing him fresh recovery.

I'm currently watching the match between Morocco and Nigeria again. I'm looking at Ayinde's red card and I'm more convinced that it's not a redcard. Ayinde stood her ground while the Moroccan player ran in to intercept the ball, at that point Ayinde's leg was up in the air it was only natural that she finds the ground to place her leg as her eyes were on the ball which was in possession of another Moroccan player.

She didn't run in to stamp her feet like Ajibade's redcard or the over looked Moroccan redcard that was reduced to a yellow card. She was simply stand having her leg raised and the morrocan ran into her space.

That's the thing about VAR.. It's a good technology,but it can easily be manipulated because it's still controlled by man.. We have seen it many times even in the best leagues.. It was clear it was used against us, but we move..

I pity South Africa...They will get their own share of it tomorrow...

The difference though is that South Africa will use our experience to their advantage. They just need to ensure the stay of fouls, it's even better to allow them play as this Moroccan team (save the goal they scored against a reduced Nigerian team) is yet to score from open play.

South Africa Just needs to dominate play and keep off fouls and they would be fine.

Holland is not one of the EU countries that allow dual citizenship.

So Ehizibue switching to us means him renouncing his Dutch passport forever. A Dutch passport that gives him access to over 180 countries without visa unlike the Nigerian passport.... well, that's a kind of a dilemma don't you think?

That is why I said, it is down to comprehension. Scanning through your post, you are off tangent of the discussion. How can discussing the challenges of a player equate to hype? Is that not shocking even to you?

Now when we talk about skillset, it is with respect to our national team. When we go to Europe, we have loads of them. Let me just list five.

I can go on. We have loads of them in Europe. We just saw the rise of Zidane Iqbal for Manchester United. Brilliant in midfield dictation, keeping the ball in tight spaces, and distribution. There is still James Garner. These are young players.

In Nigeria, we do not have them in mass. We don't. So, that is why we appreciated Eguavoen giving Kelz Nwakali the call-up. That is not hyping him.

European clubs have the luxury of passing Kelz Nwakali if they seek a deep-lying playmaker, that dictates with long balls. For Eguavoen, it was important to him, and reached for the few he could get. Luckily, he believed in Nwakali, and I believe he showed quality.
