I got into playing basketball when I was in England, because I had so many Americans around me. I could dunk then too. I’ll find some pictures to post later when I wake up for real.

My guy you are very uninformed. First of all, I've been here for more than 16 years.

Second of all, most people in the US see Nigerians as very smart, hardworking, intelligent, and rich. You know why? They tell me that
their nurse is Nigerian, their Doctor is Nigerian, their teacher in the University is Nigerian, the smartest person in their class in University was a Nigerian, and the list goes on. Whenever I go to a hospital, I look at the wall and see a bunch of Nigerian Doctors and Nurses listed there.

Most blacks in top Universities here are Nigerians or Nigerian descent. One of the most successful ethnic groups in America are Nigerians.

I get more opportunities in the States because of my Nigerian background. Even Black Americans complain that the white men treat us better. And I've had conversations with some whites that prefer Africans, because we are more focused and easier to get along with. But I always make sure to point out that the Black Americans have a good reason to be pissed, though they need to do a better job at channeling that anger to get a better result.

Please guys, try not to lecture someone who lives in a country, based on what you hear online. You dey talk like say I just left Nigeria yesterday. If you read my thread, then you should know that I left Nigeria at age 18, and I'm 46 now. Experience ti pko ju!

And by the way, I'm from Abia State, but grew up in Lagos.

When I was in England, I had a friend that was not good at basketball, but he schooled me playing, and I was not having that, so I bought a ball and started practicing, and it wasn't long before I was better than him, though I was never great at it.

Yes I do play, funny it was a game I hated while I was a kid, but that changed on a Christmas day when I got to watch NBA highlights, I should be about 10 or 11 years old then, damn the slam dunks got me awed and ever since I've been playing. My highschool then had basketball as their major sport,so that kinda helped.

My highest moment ever was Dean's cup, Faculty of Science,my department (Mathematics) won the cup.

Which NBA team do you like? Me I like many teams because they have a Nigerian on there lol

I was rooting for Miami Heat because of Gabe Vincent and the other Nigerians on there, but I was also fine with the Celtics winning because of their coach Udoka, and Aaron Nesmith.

I’m watching to see how Agbaji and other young Naija talents progress.

I myself don't have a regular team, I just flow with team consistency, like when the Lakers were having it good, the Kobe -Shaq era, and now the Golden State Warriors, yeah the Nigerian players too kinda keeps me attracted to some of the teams like Giannis Antetokoumpo, the Greek freak (Milwaukee Bucks) was happy for him when he won the Championship, at least he has a ring.

Wished Udoka won it with Celtics as coach,but then I wanted the MVP for Curry.

I'll look for the group photo we took during the Dean's cup ,this was 2012 if I can still recollect, I'll post it tomorrow.
